Quality repair kit
I was satisfied with the materials and craftsmanship of this fuel pump repair kit. For whatever reason I wasn't allowed to purchase a complete fuel pump for my 1969 Kohler 12hp gas engine. I could purchase everything else fuel related including a carburetor, fuel tank and ect. But not a fuel pump, even though 90+ vendors had them listed w/price to sell. Okay, back to the review. The kit worked perfectly. Here's a "TECH TIP", the main body of these fuel pumps are constructed of a polymer compound (plastic) and with normal use and age these become warped and distorted. First, I recommend that the mating surfaces of the pump should be resurfaced flat. Second, on both sections of the pump you just resurfaced I would use a 3/16" drill bit by hand and lightly hand drill each hole that a screw travels through. By doing this it will ensure that both sections of the fuel pump seals/compresses all of the rubber diaphram as opposed to only the four corners where the screws are at.

does not fot for part number 230675
after a long wait for this fule pump to arrive for my case 220. fuel pump # KOA235845 - that requires a fuel pump kit KO 230675. This pump diaphram is too large too fit . look else where for a correct pump.

It works
The tee part is a little tight going in but it didn't need to be ground down. Holes were slightly off but just line them up as best as you can and screw it together. Many complain about the missing gasket. Separate it off the original diaphragm and reuse it. It's on the flat side. I am guessing the slight differences are patent issues. Under $10 and my fuel pump is working again and I didn't have to buy the whole pump. What's not to like.
