Barbarians, Gentlemen and Players: A Sociological Study of the Development of Rugby Football

Inspiering read!
Beeing a norwegian with no pre-knowledge of rugby, and little knowledge about the UK educationsystem this was a read that required some "alongside" study to fully understand it. That said as a student of sociology and with a genuine interrest in understanding the consepts of a sociological analysis this book provides a thourough example of this! This book was recommended to me from my teachers / professors in sociology and I can recommend this to students that want an interesting read as an example on a sociological analysis, and people with a genuine interrest in rugby and why its organised the way it is!With english as a second language it is definitely a heavy read, but feasible if you are in to it!
