How far away from walls should you mount this?

With the 35 pound bag, Ideally just enough room where you can go around the bag with your strikes. Your goal is to work your accuracy and good punching technique, not necessarily to make the ball fly with your power shots, tho it handles a good hit well. Also, work on the foot work and some slipping. No set distance but see how much room you need to circle ball comfortably.

Is the shackle included? It doesn't say in the description. I'm interested in the 35lb 12" headhunter bag.

Yes it is. Other brands like Polyform don't and their materials are harder on the hands. I forgot the other brand but Aqua makes it it's cheaper but does not come with the shackle or the nice colors

Can the 35lb bag be hung from an Everlast single-station heavy bag stand (100lb capacity)?

It can. Although, it might limit it's room to swing which is more realistic for sparring. It definitely can be hung from a bag stand though.
