This product was purchased to use in a tent as a night light. Had it about 6 months and used it about 10 to 15 times before it simply stopped working when plugged in. Such a waste of money. Would not recommend

I wanted to so completely love this thing - a diffuser combined with a lighted planet light? Like two of my favorite quirky things in one? And it is cute but mine arrived missing the spring from the diffuser pad as well as with a broken USB wall plug. : ( They talk a good game in the listing about contacting them but I was unable to find any contact info for them anywhere (box, online, etc.) to tell them about the defective/missing two parts...If it were fully functional it would be GREAT! At first, I plugged in the cord into my own USB power socket and turned it on (after soaking the pad in water and filling the machine with water). It didn't diffuse but rather I heard an extremely high-pitched screech. Once I figured out it was the diffuser pad not making contact as it is missing the spring, I put the little rubber band that the cord came wrapped in on the bottom of the pad and it seemed to push it up to make contact. No more high-pitched screeching and it worked. It actually diffuses beautifully. (I just have to find an actual replacement spring now.)It gets a LOT of volume and height (especially for its size) with the mist (like a LOT!) which is awesome. Just what you want in a diffuser to really get the scent around the room well. I tried the lights and it worked - from a sort of very yellow, to a very white, to a more neutral tone. There are two buttons next to the power plug. There is one button to put the diffuser on and if you press it again it differentiates from intermittent to steady. The other button is the light - turns on/off and rotates through the three brightness options. Not sure why it comes with the wooden base as it refuses to fit stably on it. The planet is flat on the bottom with a rubber grippy ring so it works best flat on a surface all by itself. I will save the wooden holder for something else. Also, the directions are printed in the smallest possible print – and in a light grey font. Oye!This is the type that you have to have constantly plugged in to work - no batteries or recharging. I am fine with that although the cord that comes with it is mighty short in my opinion. It seems like a standard USB-C plug, though - so I am sure you can easily switch it out with a longer one on your own. Plus, when I actually tried the included USB wall plug (which is great that it is included as so many machines these days do not include it) it worked for the lights but I only heard a hum when trying the diffuser. I then unplugged the outlet plug and realized it was rattling - so it arrived busted and not able to be used. : ( If not for the missing spring and the broken wall plug – the thing would have easily gotten 5 stars!If you found my review helpful, why not click the “helpful” button. I really like the cool globe design of this essential oil diffuser with the funky base. I wish it didn't look so blah when it isn't turned on, but I have it tucked away in a corner anyway so it's not a big deal. It's definitely eye-catching when it is illuminated!It holds enough water to diffuse scent for several hours, and is easy to refill. The stand holds it upright so there aren't any spills, but you do need to be careful to set it on there properly.
