CBN wheel Review
I picked up a heavy duty beefy grinder 8” from grizzly with variable speed controller even though my grinder came banged up due to mail carrier but it worked out great my CBN wheel works great looks great and sharpens anything just take care of it and also don’t sharpen andything you are not suppose to sharpen on it..I use it to sharpen my turning tools and clean up some tools.Its worth it was for me.EnjoyFreddyBuiltinWestchester/YouTube

Super sharpen your tools!
This wheel works great with the Wolverine sharpening system for lathe tools. Very little effort is required to put a razor sharp edge on your tool. The tools stay cool because the cbn material doesn’t conduct heat.The higher upfront cost is outweighed by the long life of these grinding wheels.

This CBN Wheel Works Great.
This wheel is designed differently from most in that one face is solid where most others have the hub offset in the center of the rim. But this allows the flat side to have a 5/8" CBN edge that is great when you want a truly flat grind on your tool. The 180 grit is very aggressive when new. I have not had it long enough to know how long it takes to "break in" but things I have read suggest it won't take too long. The wheel on my inexpensive grinder (1/2 hp) runs smooth. The side to side play is +/- 0.002" which I think is pretty good. I had to rotate it around the motor shaft to find the best spot but this most likely the motor's shaft issue. I didn't get a set of conical washers that are available from another source but did buy machined washers to get it to fit the length of the motor shaft. The washers that you used with the alumina oxide wheels aren't used (and usually not true either). If the CBN lasts the way it should (advertised), I will be very happy with my purchase.

CBN grinding wheel great quality at a great price
This is great for sharpening high speed steel tools has many advantages over grinding stones. The quality is excellent. I have had an identical one of a different grit for several years. The price on amazon is the best I have seen.

Giant. Beast.
This thing is much bigger than you'd expect, but it will fit (at least in my dewalt 8" bench grinder) even with the safety guards on. Although, perhaps one doesn't even need safety guards with CBN wheels because they're not going to shatter--and if it does, god help you whether you have safety guards or not. In short, I love this because it takes metal and makes it go away. Also, it warns you not to use it on softer metals but that warning is a joke, I think.

Nice replacement for my 60 grit aluminum oxide wheel.
Solid CBN wheel! It's heavy...a lot heavier than I expected. Takes material off quick, fresh out the box. Mine has a slight wobble, but I'm fairly certain it's my grinder and not the wheel.
