Q: I bought my lids in april 2022 four are no longer working. Exposed to solid sunlight a good 8-10 hrs a day. How often do batteries need replaced?

We have mostly shade but I don’t change batteries more than every 6 months. I use good solar batteries. Yours should last longer

Hi, the jar light lid mouth diameter is 2.7in, fitting most regular-sized mouth mason jars you have such as canning jar, mayonnaise jars, jelly jars, etc.

Q: I don't know if I am doing anything wrong... they are not recharging. Is there something I need know know?

I have a few questions to try and help. 1. Did you turn the switch on. It has to be on to charge the batteries. 2. Have you checked to make sure one of the battery ends are making complete contact with the metal connections inside? 3. Are you sure you are allowing them to get the most sunlight during the day. I have mine to get as much as 6 hours a day. 4. If you have other solar powered lights that you know work, take the batteries from there and try it on the Mason jars. IF thet doesn't turn them on then you probably have a bad set!
