SauconyMen's Cohesion 14 Trail Running Shoe

Been buying these for years now. Wider than some Nike shoes, thinner and light than many Asics. Good support overall. Because I alternate between these and another pair (same shoe in a different color) I cycle through about 2 pairs a year running a little over 20 miles a week on a combination of sidewalk, road, and treadmill. They also hold up well through 4 lifts a week and maybe 3-4 miles of walking a day. Unless you're a competitive distance runner (doing 50+ miles a week) or have some pre-existing conditions that require a shoe more tailored to you specifically, you probably don't need anything more fortified than these. Very affordable, too.

This is (at least) the third pair of these shoes I have owned, and I continue to be a veery happy customer. I've been wearing Saucony brand since 1984 and they never disappoint me. The sizing is consistent (I'm a size 7) and the quality and price are excellent. Back in the day I used them to train for a marathon--these days they are an every day walkabout shoe and they do the job well.

I only buy saucony running shoes, and I usually buy them from Amazon, and I’ve bought this same shoe before in a different color but unfortunately this pair is narrower and shorter and they hurt my feet. I have got so comfortable buying a size eleven that I got this pair and tossed the box so I have to just wear them anyway.

I bought these shoes for running. This is my second pair of Saucony shoes. The sizing, width and support are consistent with my first pair. Although they are different models, they are the same fit and finish.I bought the used pair from Amazon to save money. I count tell that these shoes were even tried on by someone else. It was a great deal.

It's impossible to rate if a shoe fits or not as that is such a subjective experience. During prime day I ordered half a dozen running shoes (saucony and new balance) and non of them fit right. I guess you can't just go with a brand, so I went back to the same model I have been wearing for the past four years.

[Update]About 2 months into using these part of the outer tread on right shoe has started peeling off. Not the end of the world but I definitely feel it when pivoting or shuffling my foot. Concerns me that more tread will break off as the shoe ages.I have wide feet and have had a lot of trouble with brands like Under Armour, ASICS, and Adidas because they often become too tight around my toes. Saucony has become a go to for me because their shoes are very horizontally spacious.I've become especially fond of the Cohesion line as comfortable, inexpensive Shoes for running and work. It started with the Cohesion 12 as a pair of backup running shoes for my Kinvaras. Then I bought a pair of Cohesion 13s for work, which have turned out to be some of the most comfortable Shoes I've ever owned for general use.After a little over a year of use my Cohesion 13s have started to wear and I decided to give the new release a try. The 14s look very similar to the 13s (this is a good thing) and they even added a line of thick reinforcing material over the outside of the toe box where my 13s developed holes.However, although the same size, these shoes don't seem to fit as well. They have less space in the toe box, while simultaneously being wider overall. When working this has led to an annoying tendency for the shoes to want to rotate around my feet when on uneven or angled surfaces. It's usually not a problem but I don't feel as well planted as with the 13s.Overall, these are solid shoes, they feel like Sauconys and they're well priced. But they don't have the same "made for me" feel that I got with the Cohesion 13s.

Received in a timely manner and product was as expected.

Great value for a walking sneaker or for the gym. Support is moderate, and cushioning is light. Would not recommend for anything strenuous, running, hiking, etc.

Nice runner great fit

These are a replacement for a similar model purchased about four years ago. Comfortable right out of the box and good support for running in urban trails and asphalt. No complaints, highly recommended for solid runners at an affordable price.
