Overall, it's a pretty sturdy toy.But people should know that the mane doesn't have the same material underneath, as the rest of the body.While my dog (rather big, 6-year old) has been playing with it for a while and no damage can be seen, the mane section is a thin layer of fabric and the filling has already been taken out by him. This is also the section where there "squeaker" (one of the two) is located at.I would have liked for the entire body to be the same.. so maybe get one of this that isn't the Lion.

Great durability! My doxie has beaten and chewed it for months now. Although the lion is a little worse for wear, he’s still ticking.

My girl loves this toy. It’s her go to out of a whole box of toys.

My puppy loves this toy. We gently play tug of war & he can grip & hold on to it until the command to drop it.

I have a 6 month old labradoodle that chews everything and it took him less than 5 hours to chew the hole in this. He loves it though.

My puppy likes this but I had to cut the fur off because he was pulling at it and trying to eat it. Now that the hair is gone, it is a good toy.

My 7 month old puppy loves these toys, unfortunately they don't last very long. A month of playing and chewing and it's pretty much destroyed.
