When changing rear brakes, make sure you either use VCDS or obdeleven to release the brakes. The other option is to remove the electromechanical parking brake motor first (2 bolts in the back) and then release the brakes. DO NOT TURN ON THE PARKING BRAKE WHILE LOOSE. I made the stupid mistake of doing this and ended up rebuilding the entire caliper/ piston. Yes, it works fine now, but the rebuild takes a lot of meticulous work. I think the easiest/ safest way is to remove the motor first which I did on the other side and saved alot of hassle.

Improved performance, breaking feel and long life.
These are fantastic. The stock pads and rotors failed on my 2015 Audi A3 at around 40,000 miles. I wanted some more bite, so I bought these pads along with the matching rotors. Not only did the breaking feel and performance improve, these lasted much longer than the stock pads. I know it’s difficult to believe, but I’m still running on these pads at 130,000 miles. They’re ready to be replaced, so I ordered another set. Go for it.

Better and cheaper than OEM
Installed on my MK7 GTI (non performance pack). No issues. There seems to be a noticeable improvement over OEM pads.
