Practice Makes Perfect: Basic French, Premium Third Edition (NTC FOREIGN LANGUAGE)

Loads of exercises and good range of new new vocabulary, but only real issue involves the new vocab you are sometimes given and the practice exercises. Responses to the exercises you assume would utilise the new vocabulary just given but quite often the answers in the back of the book use alternative vocabulary.

Home educator for 13 almost 14 years to 8 and I speak 4 other languages, which I teach to my bairns and these books are a firm favourite to use along with others. Recommended!It’s a shame these only cover a few different languages.

This study book would be more suitable for someone who has at least a beginner French course. The basic exercises assume previous exposure to French, but do an excellent job of practicing the basics of grammar and sentence structure.Large print, simple illustrations, 50 lessons building on knowledge with an answer key at the back. 8-1/2" x 10-1/2"

Bought this book to continue my learning in French. The exercises are good and fun but I have some issues with the answers because there is no explanation to it. Mind you this book is not really for "beginners" those who are zero french even if the title says that it's Basic. You need to have some basic knowledge in french before purchasing this book.
