Hi, The straps are designed for single shoe use only and cannot be changed to another shoe. Once the shoe is prepared properly the straps will stay in place very firmly. Thank you

Do i need to wear 2 at the same time for maximum benefit ?

Hi Andy, Wearing two straps gives you the maximum benefit as your are constantly grounded. The chance of building any static or positive charge is completely eliminated by wearing two straps. Thank you

Do these work on children's shoes?

I’d think so. Just put them on over the back of the shoe (which I did, too) instead of the side so the longish strip can be stuck down the inside of the shoe.

I hate to leave a bad review and I really wanted to like these because I believe in the science behind them and don't want to spend hundreds on leather soled shoes but... after a week of normal use (I do hour long walks to the beach every day), the were both broken so I basically had to throw them out. I'm really only leaving this review here so that others can make an informed decision while shopping.
