Chose this caliper because the item displayed had very clear dark lettering. On the caliper I received the numbers are difficult to see and they are not black as shown in photo of item. Moreover, the caliper is difficult to extend because sharp point sticks into back of ruler making it difficult to move and you can hear it scratching the back of the ruler (see photos). Buena calidad y acabados, no es tan preciso como los que utilice en la universidad pero para calibrador casero si funciona.

It'll do in a pinch, but do yourself a favor and spend a little more for something better.

It is a perfect little pocket caliper.It is not a high precision caliper for measuring to thousands of an inch, but it is good to 1/32 of an inch or 1/10 of a millimeter for measuring outside and inside diameters, it fits easily in a pocket and it is rust proof too.
