I spend a lot of time busy so it's not easy for me to be able to enjoy games very often, even at home I usually have my desktop monitors full of work on screen and with so much open it is impossible to run much more on it. This device has been a life saver when it comes to allowing me to enjoy myself from my desk at home even during busy events without needing to worry about my desktop crashing, not to mention the portability helps tremendously with stress. On the topic of stress I did unfortunately have some trouble with my screen, the GPD WIN 3 never leaves my desk so I found it odd but I did ask support and after a look at it they deemed that they would be able to fix the problem.From sending it to them via postal service to receiving a package back after they inspected it took under a month and I can not mention it enough how thankful I am at their speed and efficiency at handling the problem. I have owned many computers in my life but their customer support has to have been the best I have ever experienced, even compared to big brand names like Best Buy. I did not have to over explain myself or wait weeks for communication to go through unlike other customer service providers I have had to put up with, Lanruo knew what to do and they were good at doing it.If I could give a higher score I would, their customer service is amazing and the GPD WIN 3 is a miracle machine able to run games faster than any other computer I have owned previously. An amazing product from an amazing company and I am very happy that I purchased from them.

The fans are loud, it gets pretty hot, and the keyboard is so bad that I use the touch keyboard on the screen, and it is a very overpriced. The controller layout isn’t the best, but the buttons themselves feel great.However, now that I own one of these, this is the best thing I’ve ever purchased in a long time! I’ve been able to emulate any game I want from PSP up to PS2 without worrying about frame drops. I have no doubt I can run higher end emulators.I don’t play steam games that much but it’s strong enough to run The Skywalker Saga at high 720p 40fps (on the most demanding planet) and Black Ops II at max settings 91fps for reference.I honestly wouldn’t recommend this for the price unless you know why you’re getting it. This really is a niche device.Buyers beware, there is this annoying bug that if you put it in sleep more for too long, the device wont turn back on or force shut even when holding the power button. It’s not enough to knock off a star from my review since I still use this very regularly, but it’s so annoying that when it happens, it only seems to turn on when it wants to. Best way to avoid this is to turn off automatic sleep and shutdown mode completely. Just shut it down manually when you’re not using it. Even then, the thing will sometimes take too long to shut down and you can’t turn it on until it’s completely off and the power button still won’t work.Also, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 and Warzone runs smoothly when it works, but will crash randomly, especially when too much is going on like in ground war.

I've owned this device for about a year now and have used it quite a bit for steam gaming and emulation. Haven't had any issues besides battery life and not being able to run most recent games that well, but that's to be expected in a small package like this. Reason I bought it is because I've always been into handheld game systems growing up with the nintendo ds, psp and switch being my favorites and this is like the ultimate portable that can run all those and pc games, so definitely scratched that itch. Didn't want to wait for the Steam Deck either but this is definitely a good alternative (albiet pricey one). It's also just an all around good pc that runs Windows 11 perfectly. I know this is definitely a niche market for expensive handheld pc's, especially with the much cheaper steam deck on the market, but for me the customization, smaller, more comfortable form factor, and the fact it has a keyboard makes this slightly better for me. Definitely get the console grip and dock for a better experience. This is a well built, premium console. Nice job GPD. Can't wait for the next iteration from these guys. Hopefully not as pricey

Compact PC worked great for about a year, now I can’t get to turn on. Very disappointing for the investment, thought would last much longer, save money, i don’t recommend this unless your ok for it to work for only a year.

Completely exceeded my expectations. I mean a Quad Core i7 in a hand held unit that runs windows? I can tell you I have run some pretty high end gaming titles and they run great on this unit. I also own a steam deck and love it, but some games won't run yet because not all games support the hardware. This unit will run those games. Not necessarily at the highest quality settings but it really looks amazing. Seriously you can throw in a docking station for about $80 and you suddenly have a desktop PC with 16gb memory and a 1tb ssd. If you can afford it, definitely pick one of these up! (I know the GPD Win 4 is coming out soon but that will probably be $1500 for a while at least).

This thing wants to do big things. But, it doesn't. Furthermore, it has major os problems which makes it very hard to use. It works when and how it wants and if you don't like it then restart and pray it works.....over.and.over.and.over.and.over. Oh I forgot to mention I've only had it one day. Also forgot to mention that the L2 button just up and stopped working.......like just doesn't work at all. I'm very put off by all this for one main fact and that is that this thing actually runs ps plus premium app on wifi with almost no glitches which is amazing because my laptop on ethernet doesn't even do that. Needless to say I will be processing a return. Mostly because of the L2 not working and constant need to restart more than functionality.

Well it's a really good device I'm enjoying it...It would have been five stars if the right trigger was actually working only one was working fresh out the boxMy reasoning for not replacing it i will fix it myself
