Smooth and fast
This blade works wonderfully cutting shingles, cardboard and everything else that has been put against it. It is sharp, keep away from things you don't cut. Easy removal, cost effective, smooth use, and much more comfortable for long applications compared to utility knife holders.

Cuts like butter
Cuts through cardboard like butter. Super easy.

Good Performance but Expensive.
5 stars for performance. 4 stars for price/value. These blades are good, but should last a bit longer. We use this blade for removal of dried hard but brittle tile adhesive. Stardock is a superior system. Bosch and Anazon should have a accessory Sale every now and then.

This might be the best use for an oscillating tool
I only had a two-square roof to do on a shed, but I was concerned about cutting overhanging architectural shingles easily; this tool made it EASY and neat. It also made cutting out the slot for a ridge vent EASY and neat. If you're on a ladder, you can wield your oscillating tool one-handed, and not worry about your ability to pull/push the tool like you would with a hook knife. This blade just carves up shingles, letting you fine tune the shape and easily smooth out uneven cuts. I do a lot of work on fiberglass boats, where the oscillating tool constantly comes out, but with this blade, cutting shingles might actually be the best use for an oscillating tool I've found. The only minor downside is that after cutting maybe 30-40 linear feet of architectural shingles, the blade is pretty worn and is cutting slower. I think it could be easily sharpened a few times however. So, this probably isn't the right tool if you're a pro and you shingle a roof every day, but for a home-gamer, especially if you're new to this and want the best chance of a good outcome, this tool rules.

It can cut asphalt shingles
This was a special needs case. It does trim roof shingle well.

Works if you have a wide and long caulk bead to remove; I didn't
This works when you have a long, straight, wide caulk bead to remove. If the caulk bead varies in thickness, as in the bathroom I just completed that had caulk inside irregular grout cracks, you may not be able to fit this tool into the crack. If you do have that long, straight, wide caulk bead, this will work well. It can be mounted onto any brand of oscillating tool with no problems. Be patient and go slow. Keep the flat side firmly against the edge of the caulk bead.

cuts roofing shingles fast, durable
I needed to recut a roof/wall intersection in some old architectural shingles. Two roof/wall transitions, I did the first one with a simple saw blade in the oscillating tool. It took a while and I worried a little that I would cut the step flashing (though it's galvanized). All of the teeth were worn off on the first shingle and cutting 10' of valley took 1/2" off length of the blade. That wall took an hour or so. So, I bought this blade for the other side. Wow, 10x as fast. Slices right through the shingles, asphalt, fiberglass and sand. I did pretty good at lifting just as I came to the bottom of each step (cutting up - trust me) but when I did catch a step, this blade would not cut it at all. I'm confident that I did not damage the flashing in this little adventure. Got that side cut in 10 minutes. The blade appears to have not worn down at all. I also tried this blade on some cardboard since it says it's for 'soft materials'. Cuts cardboard like buttah. I will say though - you want to know where your fingers are when using this particular blade.

Perfect for removing old caulk cleanly
Works very well for removing old silicone and caulking without damaging surrounding surfaces. The Starlock connection feels solid and does not slip during use. Used it on bathroom caulk and around windows with a multitool and it saved a lot of time compared to scraping by hand. Blade stayed sharp longer than expected. A bit expensive for a single blade, but the quality is much better than cheaper generic ones.
