An Enquiry Concerning the Principles of Morals

This was Hume's favourite of all his writing. For me personally, I much prefer the relevant parts of the Treatise. Although this is an easier read, it is less philosophically enlightening - or at least I find it harder to get to the philosophical core. However, like all of Hume's writing it is a rather fabulous book.There are many versions of this book, but it is Beauchamp's introduction which makes it worth buying this specific version. It is a really useful summary, not only of this second enquiry, but also all of Hume'e moral thinking. If you are preparing for an undergraduate exam on Hume's ethics, this introduction is a very helpful summary.

Small typeface and not bothering to separate footnotes from text make this harder to read than it should be. No text on the spine means that it is also hard to find on the bookshelf. Small things spoiling a good book.

A visualização está péssima. O texto está muito pequeno. Parece que o arquivo não é apropriado paravo kindle. Isso deveria ser avisado no anúncio da venda.

Very useful book. It is always difficult to read an old version of writing style, but that is an education in itself.

Beim Einband wurden keine hochwertigen Materialien verwendet und die Seiten sind teilweise wellig gebunden.Ansonsten ist das Buch in Ordnung. Der Text ist gut leserlich. Aber für den Preis erwarte ich einen ordentlichen Einband.

Much difficult to read as compared to the other works. The problem is me, not the content. I hope to allocate more time for a more focused revision of the content.
