The Mystery of Bigfoot...
I worked my first Bigfoot case over 30 years ago and ever since then, to me, the enigma of The Sasquatch remains one of the most major and fascinating mysteries on this planet. I've just finished Wood Knocks Volume 1 and I have to say that David Weatherly has a brilliant concept here. Go to the renowned experts in the field of Cryptozoology and get their input on this interesting subject. This is another one of those books that "had" to be written and this is one of the most definitive books on Bigfoot to be written in quite some time. So if you are intrigued as I am, by the many mysteries of this world, then I highly recommend that you get Wood Knocks Volume 1. You won't be sorry. Congratulations to you David Weatherly and your Contributors, you've all really nailed it with this book . I'm really looking forward to Wood Knocks Volume 2...

Good, if uneven, anthology
In general, those interested in Sasquatch will find this an interesting addition to their libraries. I particularly enjoyed the orang-Pendek article. On the other hand, one of the writers for the series sent in a disjointed, rambling piece that never should have made the cut. Most of the articles, however, were reasonably well written and argued even if I did not agree with the conclusions.

Wasn’t as enjoyable as his other books
I did not enjoy reading this book because of the way it was formatted. All the statistics make your head spin I would rather have just heard the stories and put the statistics at the end where if I wanted to look them up I could have.

Great Reference Work
Weatherly has gathered some of the best minds in the Bigfoot field to offer their takes on the elusive creature. Some great information is given and all done with fresh perspective. And the best part....it's Volume 1, which promises more books.

Good book
Great collection of bigfoot occurrences. Parallels Dixie Cryptids, Bigfoot Odyssey, and Sasquatch Chronicles featured on YouTube.

INTERESTING BUT SLOW
IT KILLS ME TO SAY THAT THIS DAVID WEATHERLY BOOK IS NOT HIS BEST. ANYTHING BIGFOOT INTRIGUES ME HOWEVER,......IT'S NO GREAT THRILL OF A BOOK WITH RECOLLECTIONS OF OTHERS ENCOUNTERS & REPORTS.
