High Quality tool
perfect tool for sorting your patch panels out and high quality connections. i had a project i needed a new tool for so went for a slightly more expensive tool than the cheaper ones out there and worth the few extra pounds as made good contacts will be removing my old patch panel for a newer one so this will come in handy.

Perfect for keystone fittings!
I have recently installed some cat6 keystone outlets in our home and had been putting off doing the cable wiring as it seemed too difficult with a screwdriver; tI had no idea there was an actual tool for it! this tool made it a breeze - line up the wire above the terminal and use the tool to pop it in place. Theres 8 wires per socket and it only took minutes to do. Great tool!

Reliable and consistently punching
Far superior to the ones found in the cheaper kits. When I wired up some cat 6 sockets with the cheaper punch down tools I would get random connectivity issues due to poor connections. After going around my sockets with this tool I haven’t had issues since. The tool is nicely weighted and the ability to set the impact level meant I didn’t smash apart my cheaper socket connectors.

Get what you pay for
I've used a few cheap punchdown tools that came as part of kits (I'm not a pro installer) but they were either hard work or broke quickly (or both!). I've used this to punch cat6 cable into my 24-port patch panel at home along with wall sockets around the house and it's been great! Definitely feels like you get what you pay for! What it costs more over the cheap kitsbyou'll save in sanity and the need to redo numerous cables =)

Not Good , cheaper tool far out performs this
Decided to purchase this item that was a more expensive option, assuming that it would perform to a higher standard. Had 6 X 24 port patch panels to krone Cat 6 cabling into on a job, but ended up using an old CK krone cheaper unit that I had, which was way more accurate to use. This new unit was very difficult to align correctly & ended up damaging patch panel port's & also did not cut off excess cable even after selecting max pressure option.

I used this punch down to terminate my CAT6 that I newly installed. I did 8 rj45 ends and the same number on a patch panel. All connection were successful on the first try, but the blade rarely cut off the excess wire. It did "nick" it enough that it easily broke off with a slight twist. Comes with a spare blade in the handle. Overall good cost effective tool for DIY.

This was my first time ever punching down a punch panel. I ordered this tool on a whim since it looked identical to a brand name tool. This one worked just fine. I punched down the panel. Yes a few wires did not slice off on the first punch, however it could have been a user error. Again never used a punch in my entire life. Did a 50 punch panel and the tool worked just as good as the first punch. Give it a chance and you will thank me!
