The Goonies: The Illustrated Storybook (Illustrated Storybooks)

This was a great way to introduce my 3 year old to The Goonies, with Cyndi Lauper playing in the background. She loved the illustrations and the story within the book. It is nice whenever your kid asks questions and shows interest in what you're reading. Book is well made and was nicer than I expected.

Bought for my 10yr old nephew, since I’m a big Goonies fan. It was even better than I had expected, a nice big hardcover book with wonderful illustrations. And it was the perfect reading level for him, not too hard but not too young either. The artwork is so fun, captures the best parts of the movie perfectly. I am tempted to buy a copy for myself.

This book was so fun to read to my 6 year old. Not only did he love it immediately, but the nostalgia of it for me was everything. It also was the perfect set-up to watch the movie after. After reading the book several times, once we did finally watch the movie he already knew all the characters and was excited to see it come to life!

I'm excited foe my grandkids to grow so we can enjoy this book together.

I love this book. I got it for my son and I to share together. Goonies was a childhood favorite and can't wait to share it with him. Love the size of the book. It was bigger than I expected. It's great quality. I would love to buy for of this style of book.

Very colorful and fun to read. My little kids like this book a lot. We felt they were too little for the movie but I still wanted to share the awesome story that is the goonies. Problem solved.

I LOVE the Goonies & wanted to share the story with my kids. I thought reading this incredibly cute story book would ease them into to watching the movie without being frightened by the big guy in the basement. There were a few illustrated scenes in this book that I had forgotten about in the movie like the mean mama threatening the truffle shuffle kid with blender fingers & him also being locked in a freezer with a “stiff” a man drawn leaning against the wall with x’s over his eyes. It’s an awesome book so I hate to leave an type of negative review so don’t consider this a bad review but a heads up to parents with sensitive kids.
