It's a book full of practice problems, just page after page of practice problems, and answer keys in the back. I want balancing equations to become muscle memory for me this semester, and this book is helping me make that happen. Structurally, there's lots of room between problems to write in your answers. The answer keys in the back are nice and straightforward. The problems start at the fundamental level of simply counting atoms of each element, then each section in the book introduces a new challenge. There is some reading in the beginning, but you can tell the author wanted to prep you with some fundamental info without talking your ear off. He got in, made his point, then straight to the practice problems. And the reading did help me approach the practice better. One last thing, the author said a few reassuring things that I've never seen in a chemistry book before. Normally everything is so clinical and "you must be perfect", but this author actually says in the instructions "It's okay to make a mistake. If something doesn't work out, you can always go back and change it, and try something else instead." That made me feel less nervous and more confident in my approach to these problems. Highly recommend.

Great read for this subject as a refresher. Covers basics and what to look for and make those impossible looking chemical equations balance.

This is a good practice book to have- clear explanations, good examples (broken down step by step), exercises start from easy to more difficult- nice progression. Our student now is more comfortable in the chemistry class

Remember in school, when the teacher would hand out copies of pages from books? This is very reminiscent of that time. I really enjoy the problems that are in this book, and it is a big help.

I needed a little help in Chem class knowing how to do this since my teacher hardly gave us any work and then tested us with really hard problems. If I would have had this book during class I would have been so much more competent.

The balancing chemical equations is a nice book, something to do when you're bored or practicing. Nevertheless it was delivered bent, which could of been the USPS delivery drivers fault. (USPS is the Walmart of shipping companies). In spite of that it was a fun book.

It's been years since I went to school, and I have long wanted to get back to looking at things I never have time to do. Balancing equations is relaxing for me believe it or not! Lockdown has given me the ideal 'opportunity' to explore my inner nerd in the garden. on my kindle. Great book.

It’s for grade 11-12 level actually from easy to challenging at that level. This will make you really quick at balancing chemical equations which is great for a test environment. Really well made several chapters each easy to harder. It’s quite cheap at 12$ worth every penny for a grade 11-12 chem student. Quite fast to get through and once you finish you should be comfortable and fast with these problems.
