The purple is a great shade. The pages are large and smooth - very easy to write on. Journal lays flat making it easy to use. Just a great journal.

Bought this for my daughter in college who wanted a journal. She loves it. It’s big, the pages are not flimsy, it’s really good quality and looks expensive.The covers are the most beautiful colors and stand out in your bag. You will be really happy with it.

This is the best journal for the money anywhere. Much better than the hand-bound bespoke journals which are made with bleeding thin 90 gsm paper. You will not be sorry.I wish 2 things: I wish there was a way to subscribe for regular delivery and have a different color for each delivery, Also, many journals number the pages and have shorthand notations for weather, DOW, and date.Change the paper and I’ll never buy another.

I ordered the XL (A4) Dartmouth green notebook: it is awesome! High quality. Excellent binding. Looks absolutely amazing. Paper is excellent - and works really well with fountain pens too. I use these type notebooks a lot and this is first time trying the Beechmore brand. It's my new favourite brand. The A4 size is perfect for my use, and I enjoy that the line rule isn't too narrow like other brands. The paper is perforated, so pages can be removed if desired. I don't know that I need that feature, but the perforations aren't noticeable ... so if you do not want to remove pages, that feature won't be a problem. If you are gifting this, it comes in a very nice box lined with tissue paper. Highly recommend!!
