Long term review: save your money.
These don’t last very long and with weekly cleaning will start to compress and deteriorate. I’ll probably just cut my own sponge filter next time.Long term review: clogs very easily and disintegrates quickly over a short period of time. Save your self the money and for the same price get yourself 10x the size of a black filter mesh and cut to size. Not worth it.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive
Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive for what it is! This product should be available for $1 for the 2 pieces of foam that measure exactly 1 1/8" wide by 1 9/16" long and is 5/8" thick. I guess I could round out the measurements to 1 1/8" wide by 1 1/2" long and 5/8" thick. I will cut my own from now on.Even if this was offered at $1 they would still make a huge profit.
