Umbra Hanger, Grey, One Size

Well, I've found my drainer. Love it.
Yes, it's pricey for a drainer, but it's worth it, in my opinion. I was getting extremely fed up with a classic chrome wire rack, so I tried another classic X-frame type, which was the same price as this, actually, and totally useless. Badly made, doesn't hold items well, flimsy. They are just not designed with any thought. This thing has been thought about. Whether you like the look or not is another thing - it's kind of imposing compared to most, but it just functions properly. It holds plates nicely and they don't end up with the edge sitting in still water on the draining board. It has a separate knife drainer, which is brilliant if you don't like your nice, sharp knives clattering about with your forks. The stem glass hanger is handy too. The fact that this happens to fit the grey decor in my new kitchen is just a welcome bonus!

So glad I splashed out on this drainer.
Fab drainer. Looks good, nice and sturdy. Can position the draining channel to drain on either long side and can put cutlery drainer, wine glass holder and knife drainer where best suits you. Easy to clean too - never understand how something that holds newly washed items ends up getting dirty (poor washing up I guess!). Anyway I love this drainer and would thoroughly recommend. It probably cost three or four times as much as I’ve ever paid for a sink drainer but you definitely get your money’s worth.

Okay.......BUT
Previously had a simplehuman dish rack but the metal started going rusty. Thought I would try this one as no metal getting wet, good thought BUT the water sits in the rack and does not all drain away unlike the simplehuman one. As I live in a hard water area the limescale is going to mark this rack. So unfortunately I'm going to have to try another one. Which one - who knows it will be the luck of the draw. If you're not bothered by the water lingering then this is a good buy.

Works for my space but could be improved
This is a nice large sized dish drainer rack with one small-ish hole in the middle for the water to seep out from.I think it could be better designed, as it needs more inclination so that the water doesn’t collect and drains out completely from the hole. I’ve still kept it though because we use deep plates/bowls regularly and they sit in the slots better than other draining racks I’ve tried.I saw the exact same rack in John Lewis for £40!!!!

Sturdy and spacious
I was surprised to find that this drying rack was so spacious - I can fit quite a lot into it and the wine glass dryer is a handy feature. Its pretty easy to clean, doesnt rust like metal drying racks and the material is sturdy. Smart design and overall very happy with it.
