Wont be disappointed..I have thick hair and it holds perfectly. Can't find any other product this good to hold my hair.

This barrette is just lovely, like jewelry for your hair -- but unfortunately I didn't read the description carefully enough. I have very thick hair and the barrette can't hold it all. I still gave it five stars because the description clearly says "medium," and it's not the company's fault that I missed it. If your hair is average or fine thickness, you will love this well-made, unusual piece. Fortunately, the company makes larger sizes, so I'll sadly return this one and find another.

Couldn't be happier with my new hair clip. It's absolutely gorgeous. I was a bit afraid when I ordered it, after reading some reviews saying that it was heavy. I don't feel the weight of it. My hair is quite thick, so it's perfect if you just want to hold part of your hair (instead of the whole hair on a ponytail). I may actually get a bigger one as well. The design, the whole package, the fact that is handmade, the attention to details, and the fact that they even sent me a little charm for a necklace, make it even more special!
