Returning. I’d love the sweater it’s a perfect I love the color. The only problem is it’s too heavy for me. It was very warm to warm for that reason I am returning it.

I love this sweater, it's beautiful, comfortable and I've gotten a few compliments on it.The only reason I'm docking a star is because it's a lot shorter than I expected. I'm 5'7" and it hits me about mid hip. I thought it would hit lower that that. It has pouches weirdly at the side seams which looks a bit meh, but not enough for me to hate the sweater.

This is a high quality sweater. I am about a US size 8 or 10, medium or large. I am 5’7” and about 150 pounds. I hold most of my weight in my midsection. I ordered this sweater in size medium and that fits well. The sleeves are very long, which is great. And it covers my backside so it’s good with leggings. It can be dressed up or down. In my photo I wore it with a blazer, leggings and high boots to work, and it looks very professional. It is thick too, a nice thick cable-knit style and very warm for our upstate snowy winters. I ordered the burgundy color, which is very classy. My only complaint isnt really a complaint, but should be noted: it is specifically cut and designed for an hour-glass shape. It actually tapers at the waist and re-flairs at the hips. I can barely pull it off due to holding my weight in my stomach-mid-section area. And you can see my muffin-top very clearly. If I gain any more weight at all it wont look good, as I can barely pull it off now. It is cut/made for slender women.

I bought several items from v28 at once because of the discounts and really thinking/hoping they'd work for me, so some of this info will be repeated in other reviews because the issues were similar across the board. This sweater dress was unfortunately too big on me in the shoulders/arms, and to some extent in the waist, and the cut on the bottom wasn't particularly flattering on me. The deal-breaker was the vast extra material in the shoulders and sleeves, though, which made me look a bit top-heavy and masculine. Oddly, I have somewhat large arms and shoulders compared the rest of my body, so I was surprised at the looseness because I usually have the opposite problem. When I hold my arms out with this sweater, it's like batwing plus shoulder pads, lol. This was also just a bit too loose/gappy in the waist to be flattering. If it was a thinner material, it might have worked, but the thick material of this needs to be closer-fitting to look right. For reference, I have a few extra pounds on my relatively petite frame and am just over 5'3" tall, weigh 125 lbs, 32D cup, about a 28-29" waist (ie, not tiny, given my height). I also felt like the bottom part fit closer than appears in the photos. Now that CAN look good (e.g., v28's bodycon ribbed sweater dress), but with the bulkiness of this sweater plus the bottom being the tightest-fitting part (I have a flat, sad, white-girl butt), it makes your hips look narrow, and not in a good way. A flared or loose bottom would be MUCH more flattering and would allow for the slightly loose bodice to work (although it still should be available in a smaller size for those of us who are petite). Finally, the material was thicker than I'd prefer, but I'd have been ok with that, and it did seem to be good quality. But the bulky shoulders/arms made this a hard no, sadly.

Looking for a great quality top that’s affordable and looks like it worth more than its price ? Well, this is IT!!!! Love this top… fits perfect. I like when my tops lay past my waist and this hits perfectly. Material is high quality and very comfortable! Must buy!

ALL THE STARS FOR THIS SWEATER!!! I ordered the boat neck sweater in wine red and off white and I am literally shocked by the high quality, no matter the price. It is weighty, and very comfortable. It is SOOOO soft, and the wine red is absolutely beautiful. (I washed it in the machine, in a mesh laundry bag before the first wear with Woolite Dark, and dried in ow heat/delicate with no problem)For size reference, I am 5’9” and depending on the brand I can wear anything from a 10 to a 14. The sleeves land perfectly at my lower wrist and the hem rests just above my bum cheeks. It is perfectly form fitting and I can tell that it would stretch if needed; I think I could have easily sized down for a “body con” look. Will be coming back to this brand for sure!
