Great product
Was going to use it in yellow kart, but didn’t want to get that involved with it, so planning to use it on the red racing kart, with a gearbox that can be bought here on Amazon. Will be fitted with 250cc fuel injection scooter engine

Belt last two rides
Over all the product does what’s it’s supposed to do. The down fall, the belt last two rides and snapped. My kids are old so I belt the go kart to take what kids can do. But two rides, come on now.

Direct bolt on to predator 212
Direct bolt on to 212, although the shaft screw they send you which is a 5/16 24 pitch thread is too short to install your primary clutch correctly. Product is of high quality, I modify my backing plate to fit the Baja mb200 frame I used it on. Otherwise very satisfied with my product

Install can be a pain, you will need more stuff to get it on
So I write this having never actually finished the install. This is going on a Harbor Freight Predator 212. Had I put it on the stock Coleman motor, the included fasteners probably would have been fine.To start, the Predator needs, but does not include, hard to find 5/16 bolts that have a 24 pitch (fine) thread. Most hardware stores don't have them, so you'll need to make a few stops. You'll need four 1" bolts.On a recently-purchased Predator, there is a black box that interferes with the rear of the variable pulley. It appears to be some type of gas tank vent recirculation system. It must be unbolted and relocated. Thankfully the hoses are long and it fits under the seat without much fuss. You have to do this before you can bolt up the mounting plate.Additionally, the stock chain is not long enough, so you'll need to get a link splitter and use the two chains to make one longer chain. I didn't have a link splitter so I ground off a pin and whacked it through with a punch. Not elegant, but it works. Should be two inches.This is where I leave off as I don't have that fancy fine thread bolt. I hope one day to finish this and end the hardware store running.

The media could not be loaded. Sweet setup, bolts right on. Works like a dream and completely changes the engine, its like it has a new transmission. On demand and smooth.

A lot of problems
If you plan on just bolting this up to a new Predator 212 like me, expect a trip to the hardware store. You will need some washers to space the front drum out so that the belt runs true. Also the kit comes with all M8 hardware, the Predator uses 5/16-24 bolts. The worst part though, which almost makes this unusable, is the amount of shaft that the outer front drum sits on is about 1/4 inch. I've attached a photo to show what I mean. This makes it extremely wobbly and prone to failure. I would not spend $70 on this again. I'll find another kit for my other bike...If you aren't expecting this to just bolt on, it is a quality kit. Just not as a predator bolt on solution.

Fit my 7 HP engine without any modifications and works as it should. Very well constructed for the price point ! Would recommend .

Good Quality for 1/3 the Price
I installed the torque converter onto a Princess Auto 208 cc electric start engine. Everything lined up and fit is nice. Being from Canada we can get some weird stuff (metric hardware mixed with imperial). The metric bolts supplied to bolt the torque converter to the engine fit good and had no issued, however the crank shaft bolt supplied is metric and too short. You will need to buy a separate 5/16 24 UNF x 2.00” long bolt to properly attach the clutch to the crank shaft. I wouldn’t be surprised if this clutch system was not manufactured in the same factory as the Comet ones. I also plan on replacing the belt because the supplied seems cheap. If the clutch does not hold up I will update this customer review.

Needs to be taken apart often to clean and service and smooth weights but if you take care of it than it will last
