Great to grasp small items
FIRST IMPRESSION:First thing I noticed from opening up the package was that the forceps is made of a high quality material. They are very similar to forceps I owned which lasted me 9 years, but recently lost it. The product looked just as advertised and was not flimsy or loose in any way.USES:I work with microchips, small pads, and other small electronic devices that require some kind of needle nose for precision. These forceps work great for this kind of work because I can reach into places that I cannot reach with my fingers or needle nose. Not only can you use the forceps for small electronics, but also for medical, small wiring, small wood work, or anything else that requires precision.ITEM DESCRIPTION:The weight of this item is 29 grams (1.02oz). It measures 5.6" from tip to handle, and 2.75" wide from one handle to the next. The curve at the very tip is .5" long and curves to a 4 degree angle. The handle portion where you put your thumb and index finger is approximately 1"x.75" so it is big enough for the average persons fingers. I have attached pictures that shows these descriptions in further detail. The tip of the forceps have small teeth that can securely attach to any item. I don't think it would attach to anything as small and flexible as a strand of hair, but something that is slightly bigger and sturdier would grasp without any problems. The teeth are safe to use on anything that is gentle or fragile as you can apply a gentle pressure on the handle. The tip is also curved which allows you to comfortably work without having to reposition your hand or hold the forceps awkwardly. There are 3 locking positions in which can be used to lock it into place when not in use or to secure an item in place without having to the forceps. Each locking position applies a different amount of pressure to the item that you're holding.OVERALL REVIEW:I am very satisfied with this purchase. It is made of a high quality material that looks like will last me many years. It does not look like the forceps will easily break or rust on me. I also like the teeth and the locking mechanism that allows me to attach to any item. The curve and the length of the forceps allows me to comfortably work and get into hard to reach places. I would recommend this for anyone that works with small electronics, medical supplies, wiring, and other small parts. I have attached pictures that shows the details of the forceps

As good as any 'real' surgical forceps I've used, these are very good tools.
I was a firefighter/paramedic for many years, and of course now&then I accidentally pocketed one of these. I do electronics work, so forceps like these are essential. I've now used this HTI brand for some time now, and they compare very favorably to the ones I got from the hospital ER. The steel is polished equally well. The locking mechanism has seen frequent, sometimes hard, forceful use, and so far neither the locking part nor the pincer portion shows any evidence of bending, wear or weakness. They open fully and smoothly, and after substantial use still show no looseness, binding or rattle.So... Pro? Good tool at a fair price, carefully crafted from good steel, and after plenty of use and some forceful application, I find -no- evidence of wear.Con? Well, I'll get back here after I use 'em another coupla years, maybe I can find one by then. Heh. NOTE- I'm neither employed nor compensated in any way by Amazon, by this seller, or any other Amazon seller. My reviews are based solely on my experience(s) with sellers and products. I have not, nor will I, accept any freebies. My typical top review for anything is -four- stars. I reserve the fifth star for those few products that stand out as really exceptional for some reason, exceeding my expectations.

Wonderful little titans.
Now I will note i have not used these for medical procedures or the like, but they work amazingly in place of locking tweezers or even pliers. The material is high quality and has not retained any bends even after use in grueling environments, and more importantly work even better than expected. The locking mechanism is simple but unfailing and provides a sturdy grip on the flimsiest of material. I would do nothing but recommend these for any use, including but not limited to medical work!

Low cost, good quality
On a working cattle ranch I occasionally use forceps for a variety of uses. The tips of these mate nicely, the serrations on the jaws are even and deep enough to hold well, the pivot point is tight and not sloppy, the latching mechanism mates well and holds securely. Overall for the price they're a real bargain and offer much more precision than others in the same price range that I have used in the past. I find them to be adequately strong for their intended size and purpose. Highly recommend

Could have got a bunk pair
These did not line up with the teeth right making it hard to close. Suppose I got a bad pair , but that happens with all products always a bad one in the bunch.

Excellent tool
Good set of forceps. Grips are wide enough for my thick fingers and it locks firmly. Would buy it again.
