I found this brand recommended on a forum discussion about replacement lock options for their firearm security cabinet. This thing fits my Stack-on/Sentinel cabinet absolutely perfectly. When I ordered it, I was a little worried it wouldn't fit, as some of these, mine included, have the lock recessed slightly into the door. My worries were unnecessary. The thing couldn't fit better if it was custom made. The knob is solid machined aluminum, anodized black, and looks really good. It's reeded surface make it easy to turn against the weight of the 2"x5" steel plate cam on the other side. The only downside is that its tapered shape makes it difficult to use to pull open the door the way you could with the key it was replacing, so I had to install a handle above it as the door is flush fitting and there was nothing else to pull on. I probably could have used a nylon strap or something, but I had a black drawer pull lying around, so I used that, and it looks nice. Compared to having to go dig out the key every time I need to get in the cabinet, the combo lock is great. Some might say that a three digit combo isn't exactly secure, but given that it's replacing a wafer lock, I think its actually a step up. Yes, someone will eventually brute force the combination by trying them one by one, but the previous lock could be picked in about five seconds by someone who knows what they're doing too. The point isn't to keep someone nefarious completely out, it's to slow them down enough that they're less likely to risk taking the time. I don't have a family at home, so I don't need to worry about a bored and curious person with far more time than a burglar playing with it until it opens either. This is to keep casual visitors out more than anything. I wouldn't have bought a cheap steel cabinet if my security needs were greater. I highly recommend this to any other Stack-On/Sentinel owners who need to replace their lock due to a broken or lost key, or just don't want to deal with them anymore. I can get into my cabinet in seconds now as opposed to several minutes before, and locking up when I'm done is almost instantaneous.

Got this to replace the unlockable knob on my truck bed's storage bin (2021 Ford Maverick). Took a little shaving down of the truck box, but this went in perfect and I can now lock that box with a code. Great extra parts that come with it made it easy to install.

This is the exact same thing as the lock Tuffy sells but without the branding so the price is lower. I used this on my Bestop under seat lock box. I had to reuse the original lockbar other than that it worked flawlessly.

I found this product after a recommendation from a fellow Airstream owner. I was looking for a way to lock the bumper compartment cover on our Airstream Travel Trailer. This lock did the trick. I ordered the 7/8” model but a 5/8” version would also work. Added the rubber cover to finish off the installation. Does the job!

These are so great! now instead of having a bunch of different keys for cabinet locks, I use these and set all the combinations the same! work great. One wish, though, would be to make the "knob" flare out rather than in. What I mean is when you pull on it as it is, your fingers slide off because it is smaller at the front than the back. If you reverse that, you could use it as a knob to open the door. Not even an issue big enough to lower the rating, just a helpful thought. Wonderful lock!

It was easy to install on my RV, but everytime I installed the screw on the end that hold the catch bar, I was unable to turn the dial . I tried everything under the Sun to get it to work, but after four hours I gave up and reinstalled the key lock of which works just fine.

Not all people may realize it but every RV has the same key to storage areas. So that means anyone with a key can open your storage. These combo locks are very handy - 1) only you know that the combination 2) don't have to look for your keys to open your storage 3) you're going to the beach and don't want to bring your keys, leave them in your storage compartment with this combination lock so you can get into your RV with your regular keys!

These are solid locks that eliminate the need for keys. They installed easily and are easy to turn and open the outside door on my toyhauler storage bay. I was concerned that I was removing the pull tab but these are easy to grasp and open. Also put one on my fuel hose door.

Great product easy to install

Looks and feels strong and durable. Installed it on a boat door into the cabin (to get away with the keys). Took some tinkering to get it to align properly and adjust cylinder length. Works fine now. One thing that is an issue is the numbers are small and anyone using reading glasses needs glasses to unlock it.

I do not have to have so many keys. It works good and was easy to change the locks over to the new system.

Good product. Pros: Rotates smoothly, easy to install, come with all tab option. Cons: Number dial a little finicky
