Pounding in the grommits isn't as easy as it sounds, but once you find your groove it's not that difficult. It does take effort though and isn't quiet. Still the best option when you're on a budget.

I put some grommets in the canvas liner of my clothes hamper, to allow a little air into it. Everything is included, except a hammer. I measured and marked the spots, cut a hole for each (not as big as the grommet hole, but the fabric will curl a little), lined up the "anvil" and the bottom piece through the hole. Laid the top piece on along with the "awl" and pounded away. It took a little bit of strength, but not alot. Great product.

this is the gf my partner ordered these for me to fix something and they are thin metal I did hammer them together and some wouldn't join together. They popped apart easily after they looked tightly together with fabric between them. Several wouldn't stay together, several bent with the tools all weird.

This version installed easier than the brass version. I used the grommets for a fitted tarp.

Bought these after some store bought grommets kept on bending incorrectly and would not stay together. These grommets are easy to use. The instructions are simple and the design makes it so they don't bend at weird angles.

Exactly the same as purchased in local store for about 1/2 the price. Used with same setter and they worked perfectly. Also, these seemed to be just a tad thicker/stronger.

Complete fail, huge waste of $$$. Maybe some part is missing but the teeth would not hammer down no matter how hard I hit them repeatedly. So disappointed/frustrated. I think the length of the setter is too tall for these grommets?? Not sure but no amount of hammering compressed the grommets into the fabric.

Just perfect for putting additional mounting holes in flag.
