WIWAV WDH-5ET-POE 10/100Mbps Unmanaged 5-Port PoE Industrial Ethernet Switches with DIN Rail/Wall-Mount (Fanless,-30?~75?)

I recently installed a security system with wireless cameras, and I wanted to install them in places with no power. Thankfully when I came across this PoE switch, it was exactly what I was looking for. I recently upgraded my home network to CAT7, and I had some cable left. I made new and routed the network wires to where I wanted to go, and once everything was set up, the only thing I had to do it to give it a power which I just bought a 24v power supply which they are cheap, and once the unit was powered everything worked as intended all of my cameras had power and working as intended. Don't be deceived. This PoE is not really meant to be like a normal router. Its main purpose is to provide power to devices such as security cameras, etc., that's why the max speed is 100Mbps which is more than enough for that kind of device.Overall, it's a great PoE switch, it is made out of heavy metal, and it comes with a wall-mount which is perfect for my garage. I highly recommend grabbing one if you need this kind of PoE device.

Ich habe den Switch natürlich für die Arbeit bestellt, da unsere AccessPoints mit PoE (oder Netzteil) laufen, aber PoE (also Power over Ethernet) ja deutlich entspannter ist. Da unsere Adapter aber gerade aus sind, kam mir dieser gerade Recht. :-)Was soll ich sagen - für den Heimgebrauch ist dieser Switch nichts, da man eher selten PoE-Devices hat, das Netzteil noch benötigt und der Preis einfach zu hoch ist für die üblichen anwendungsfälle. Auch braucht man zuhause nicht unbedingt einen Industriestandard (wer einmal rasende Lüfter im Haus hatte, weiß wovon ich schreibe).Der Switch ist entsprechen sehr gut verarbeitet, sehr massiv, wird nicht allzu warm (außer im Sommer, klar!) und supportet natürlich unsere AccessPoints. Hier habe ich keine Kritik - und für den Preis ist es eigentlich schon wieder ein Schnäppchen!Fazit:+ ideal für Business-Anwendungen+ Preis ist im Vergleich schon sehr gut+ sehr gute Qualität! nichts für den Privatanwender !

Quality switch. Literally, plug and play. Plugin the power cable and an Ethernet cable hooked up to the internet and it’s ready. That simple and easy. It comes with a quick start guide that is really helpful.The construction is fully metal and durable. There are very dim lights that tell you what ports are using the internet which is handy. It has some nail/screw hanging holes so you can hang it from a wall or under a desk and easily remove it if needed. All the Ethernet ports are on the front (input and outputs).This minimizes a lot of the lagging and dropping connections to my various computers and game consoles when they were being used. If looking to make a more solid connection that connects to multiple devices, I suggest you use this Ethernet port switch.

Presenta inoltre sia la tecnologia MDI che la MDI-X, in parole semplici, per un uso standard non bisognerà configurare nulla, è un dispositivo plug & play che gestirà in automatico il flusso di rete in entrata e in uscita di tutti i dispositivi collegati. Questa modello in particolare può anche alimentare 4 dispositivi a corrente continua (DC) in uscita mediante la tecnologia PoE (Power over Ethernet). 👏 La connessione dei vari dispositivi è effettivamente molto stabile, effettuando dei test con degli switch economici, si registra una maggiore stabilità del flusso dei dati scambiati. 😉👍 PRO: solido e compatto; installabile su quadri elettrici sui profili DIN; alimentazione di 4 dispositivi collegati in uscita mediante PoE; elevate prestazioni operative; connessione stabilissima tra i dispositivi collegati.👎 CONTRO: prezzo un po' elevato, ma considerando le prestazioni offerte è un dato trascurabile.🔵 Conclusioni: consiglio questo tipo di switch negli ambienti lavorativi in cui è richiesta una certa affidabilità ed ottime prestazioni, ma anche per un uso domestico con molti dispositivi di rete da gestire diventa un prodotto eccellente, non lasciatevi spaventare dal prezzo, in quanto è un prodotto destinato a durare nel tempo con caratteristiche al top! 🔝[♂️ Diego del team ArchDRD]

this is a 5 ports 10/100mbps industrial switch, which could be used in extreme environments; description of this switch mentioned it could be used in -30 to 75 degree environment, the housing is ip30, that means it’s protected from accident hit or damage by slightly impact or small hand toolsthe maximum speed of this switch is 100mbps, quite old technology when compare to commonly used gigabit (1000mbps) switch; but for many industrial device that doesn’t need heavy data transfer, 10/100mbps is still good enoughtested it with 5 network devices and the max write speed was 91mbps, and max read speed was 93mbps, pretty good throughput rate for a 10/100mbps switchthere are 2 set of power inputs, voltage from 12v to 48v, also it’s rack mountableall in all, this product does the job, i’m happy with it
