This is even prettier in person. I have fine hair so I like that isn’t a super slick feeling metal. It’s a little hand beaten and irregular feeling, and I think it slides less in my hair than something really slick.It also holds a good amount of hair. It does have some bendiness to it. I’d not advise doing it more than a few times, but if you have a thick ponytail you usually wear and you want it arced around it, or if you just have very thick hair and need to bend it once when you first use it, I think it can take that. Repeated stress like that is... less advised.It’s really pretty irl, and I think it won’t look lost on blonde hair like some pieces, but it’s gorgeoud against dark hair. My fiancé and I are watching Vikings (on prime, lol) and he calls this my Vikings hairpin. It really does feel like something, a fancy piece of metal work, that some upper class lady would use, a signature piece. So well done.

I purposefully didn't rate thickness and stretch as not applicable. Great design and weight. This particular style especially suited to thin pony tails and fine hair when worn with a hair tie. Thinking of buying a couple of spares.

This is super cute. It feels sturdy and heavy which is nice, and it isnt too big or garish. It doesnt look or feel like that high quality of a product for the price, though. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

At the time of my purchase there were four styles and I chose the only one that didn't have a dragon. The clip is approximately 2 3/4 inch long and the pin is 3 inches. It is solid metal, some kind of cheap base metal, which weighs under 1oz. It has a sort of oxidized or blackened "antique" look to it. The gap between the clip and pin/bar is only 1/4 inch which won't fit much hair. So...don't imagine yourself putting your hair up in a bun or holding half your hair and pinning it all with the clip. The best way is to style your hair and use a hair band to secure it, then place the clip over or just above the band and pin it in place. I consider this clip more decoration than functional. I'm not convinced it's worth the $6 I paid but overall it is really quite a nice eye catching piece. If you're looking for a hair clip then this isn't it, but if you simply want to decorate a braid or similar then this would look great. I've added a few pictures so you can see the actual size.
