My father in law was having trouble keeping his cane from falling over. I found this on an internet search. thought I would give it a try. It was easy to wrap around the cane. Does exactly what it's supposed to & works well. Holds the cane easily on a tabletop/shelf/flat surface or against a wall. It also prevents my cane from slipping down from the cane holder on my rollator/wheelchair.My physical therapist saw mine & plans to recommend it to some of his other patients who use canes.

I bought this Cane Minder v2- Completely redesigned to Stop Your Cane from Falling to The Floor!- I have to use a cane every day, so I have several different styles of canes.- I have a couple of very nicely carved Asterom Wood Canes that I can not afford to have fall to the floor and damage the intricate carvings.- I have been buying and trying out different styles of Cane Holders and Grippers.- This one, the Cane Minder v2 cane holder works pretty well.- It can hook itself fairly well over the back of a chair or lean against a wall.- The plastic it is made from does NOT get a good grip on a table top though, so it tends to slide off.- I wish the gripping tip part of this Cane Minder v2 had something tacky or rubbery on the ends of it to get a better grip.- It was very easy to put on my canes. Just follow the instructions to get it to close around the cane staff correctly.- Cane Minder fits various sized and shaped Cane Staffs.- The Cane Minder does not seem to scratch the finish on my wood canes or my anodized metal canes.All-in-all; This is a decently designed Cane support/holder/minder.

I like the concept and this was easy to use; however, I have a stability rubber end on my cane and this holder didn’t work well for me.

I bought three Cane Minders and have already ordered more. This ingeniously designed ‘Cane Minder’ is easily added to just about any cane. It enables the cane to be securely leaned on a wall, hooked onto a counter, chair, railing, hook, etc. Seems to be a very flexible and strong material. - - hope it will last (will update review down the pike).

This even works on my husbands hand carved hickory cane!

Good approach to an annoying problem with canes falling to the floor. Material is stronger than elastic bands which probably lose strength overtime. It helps my cane rests against the wall, or on the table with ease.

Device is a plastic piece that comes in a paper envelope with the instructions on the back side.The instructions aren't easy to follow because neither the instructions nor the video gives a close enough look at where the latching hooks are supposed to be.It's also extremely precarious when hung and probably shouldn't be used for it.It does hold a cane up against a wall on a "pretty OK" basis.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical about this item. However, I never know what to do with my cane when I have to sit somewhere as most table or counter surfaces are not designed with canes in mind, and I often worry someone will trip over my can when I have to lean it against something. This little gizmo seems to be the answer. You can hang your cane from tables or chairs or counters easily or even lean it against a wall. It may need to be adjusted for the surface, but it slides up and down the cane and can be rotated on the cane easily. It is also easy to remove (to store in a purse or pocket), if necessary, and easy to put back on. Nice little product.

This product only works some of the time. It does not stay on all edges, especially if the edge is rounded like a countertop or a rail. I think it would work better if the plastic pieces stuck out a little bit further. However, it is good to have and has been helpful in some places.

What can I say? Simple, perfect, saves me huge pain when my cane inevitably falls over AGAIN (argh, right?). It easily attaches and detaches from your cane. So if you find it catching on outdoor wear, just take it off and pop it into your pocket. So reasonably priced too. Love it!

My cane would fall to the floor at least once a day. With this little gadget it only falls once a week. I am quite happy with it. I ordered 2 more.
