Leather Hole Punch, Black Hole Punch Tool 5mm Lacing Stitching Punch

I've ordered 3 different sizes in the DIUDUS sets, 2-5mm, 3mm & 4mm. The 5mm set lasted probably a year and a half before I needed a second set, and it wasn't because it hadn't stayed sharp. I nicked a couple of the punches. Out of the box they all punch fine. Come sharp from my experience. The six hole punch in all the kits is a little unusual in that it takes far more force to go through leather (two-three hammer strokes vs one) doesn't seem to matter on thickness. It probably could do with a larger shank so it covers more area above the punches. Either way they work for a beginner or someone seasoned in my opinion. Value is spot on, punches can be removed (in case you need a single punch tool) or replaced, though I haven't searched for replacements. Overall a decent purchase.

They arrived on time and in a nice box. The interior was packaged well but the punches were loose and dinged around. I am assuming that they came out in transport or from rough handling. I have made multiple things using these tools and would buy them again. If anything should happen to them, I will buy them again. Can not recommend strongly enough. They are easy to use and great for beginners starting out with leather or those that have been crafting for a while.

Very well made and packaged. I'm going to have to cut them off at the hilt. These are not made wrong,mi just like to use my 1ton arbor press and the handles are too long and wide ti fit in the ram. It will be super easy to modify them, in the arbor press these punches last a lot longer never being struck with blunt force or not exactly 90 degrees. The arbor press also give great results in stable even stitch lines. I might buy a second set to have when not using the press. Great product!

These are outstanding punches. They're very sharp right of the box. The only negative that I can see while using these is that the punches cannot be replaced or taken out of the handle for sharpening. So, when they go dull you must replace the whole tool. Anyway, they seem to work very well at the time I made this post. I strongly recommend them and I strongly recommend the seller.

Did exactly what it was suppose to do.

I ordered this product for my leather business to see if it would be a good addition to my shop. My first impression was very positive—the handle feels solid, and the tang-to-head assembly is well made. It has the weight and feel of a quality tool. Unfortunately, the prongs are where this tool falls short. I first used it on 5–6 oz leather, and after punching only about three sets of holes, the prongs shifted and no longer lined up flush. Thinking I had received a defective tool, I returned it and had a replacement sent. When the replacement arrived, I tested it on much thinner 1–2 oz leather for a watch band, and the exact same issue occurred. The prongs shifted almost immediately, making the tool unusable for accurate stitching. I’m genuinely disappointed because this tool has the feel of a premium product, but the performance simply doesn’t match. Until the prong assembly is redesigned or strengthened, I can’t recommend it for anyone who needs consistent, accurate stitching holes.

A lot of leather crafting stuff is a bit cheap and frankly a bit crap that you can't use it and give up thinking it's you doing something wrong. These are the ones worth buying and paying the extra for. The grip is good the punch is clean and as a extra tip cover your paper stencil in dry candle wax and tape to your work piece. The punch won't get stuck when you pull it out. (Try it and you're welcome)

Waited a long time and now missing the two prong tool. Not happy
