A Decent Quality Product
EDIT:Tried this product with my phone in my own car, a 10 minute drive charged the phone (while running spotify via bluetooth to the car and connected to my smartwatch) from 39% to 47%. This thus eliminates my previous complaint about the product not charging my device sufficiently (where 1 hour charged 5%), and confirms a faulty 12v connector in the previous vehicle. I have thus adjusted my previous 3 star rating to 5 stars as I believe this better reflects the product.A further notice, this charger states on the product description that it does not support QuickCharge technology, this was also mention to me via Anker's support team who emailed me within 24 hours of originally posting this review (good service guys, I'm impressed). While true, this does not hinder the product, just don't expect it to charge your phone as fast as the Samsung adaptive fast charger or a 12v car plug that does support QC.ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:Bought this along with an Anker battery pack (promotion, 20% off when bought together).Have used it maybe twice during a 2 week drive from UK to Serbia and back. I was sat in the very back of the vehicle in question, with this plugged into the 12v socket that was available. It couldn't charge my S6 Edge+ unless the device was switched off, and even then it would have taken 7+ hours to charge. Phone even stated it was "slow charging" as opposed to the usual "cable charging" or "fast charging".Only giving it 3 stars for now, I will further test the product in my own car to see if it was a faulty 12v socket rather than the product itself. I will edit my review as and when I have the results. In terms of build quality and aesthetics though it is a nice, lightweight charger. The blue LED is a soft glow and is pleasant and the overall style of it is pretty nice despite being entirely plastic.

Quality Reliable Product
I wanted a charger for charging devices whilst travelling. The devices are primarily iphones, ipods and ipads (I know I know, all a bit Apple).Suffice to say that this device does what it is supposed to without any drama or fuss. It charges all devices quickly, it doesn't get hot and all connections have remained rock solid and reliable (previous chargers have worn out to a point where you had to wiggle the "bullet" in the socket to get them to begin to charge and had to wiggle wires at the USB outlet to get them to connect).I have several Anker products (this bullet, a fast 240v charger, a wireless charger for my iphone and some cables) and the quality of the products is excellent.I will soon be investing in an powerbank to supplement this bullet.Good job, Anker!

Wow. Fast! And Small. Another Anker win.
This charges at least as fast as the Anker wall socket products (which are the best I’ve used too). It’s really very small and hardly sticks out. Lovely blue light really helps locate in the dark. Performance is just amazing.Quite expensive (bough good value). Bought 2 in a Galaxy, but shied away from a third (for the final row when the kids found that socket!) as £45 is a lot if you’re not fully using. The cheaper one is definitely a lot slower and lower quality - be amazed if these don’t outlast it.Having said that, between just the two they are more than capable of keeping the kids powered up on phones and tablets even on short journeys which is what was needed.Job done.

A powerful charger in a very small package
An amazingly small charger that can output 2x 2.4A from 12-24V. It is much smaller than my old Nokia charger and with twice the output. The periphery of the two USB type-A ports are marked by blue LED ring of light. It can supply 2.4A per port but does not support Qualcomm Quick-Charge. It is a snug fit in the cigar lighter socket and does not wobble or come loose in use. This visible head of the charger has an attractive carbon-fibre finish. It does all that it is clamed and in a small attractive package. Just excellent!

Whilst it looks great, unfortunately it cannot charge my Samsung Galaxy S7 ...
Whilst it looks great, unfortunately it cannot charge my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge well enough whilst travelling with GPS on.It's O.K. as it keeps the level of charge or looses only a little bit, but I would expect a charger that would actually charge to full whilst still on the road with Google map with GPS... We needed this, because with this my wife could also charge her mobile at the same time...We've tried swapping the USB ports, but it didn't seem to help with charging my phone... Fortunately we just changed car and in the new car there are more cigarette lighter type sockets as well as USB, so charging our phones separately is not a problem anymore.

It's like a miracle
I'm using it to recharge my nexus 5 in my nissan micra. I know my phone is too old for this kind of charger, but I needed a faster charger because I use my phone as navigator, and gps is very battery-consuming. With this one I can navigate with google maps AND use my phone as bluetooth music input for my car stereo, while charging! It's like a miracle. I just have to unplug it when the battery is full, because overcharge it could be dangerous. I forgot to unplug it one time, and my phone died for 3 hours. I'm afraid the battery could explode :DSo be aware using this charger could work on old phones too, but it's risky.

IQ charger gets round Samsung power constraints.
Wanted a car charger that enabled me to charge my Samsung 10 tablet while on the move. After trying a couple of actual Samsumg car chargers which failed this charger works fine charging the tablet while in use as a SAT NAV application in the motorhome. All previous car chargers and the built in USB's tricked the tablet into thinking that they were connecting to a device an so only allowed a trickle charge (red X displayed on battery symbol). This meant that tablet battery could only be used for a coupe of hours before having to be recharged. The Anker Car charger software tricks the tablet into thinking it is plugged into a power charger and allows the tablet to charge at full rate. Note: that when the tablet is fully charged disconnect from charger as the tablet can get quite warm if used continually with charger.
