I am probably not using this as intended, but nonetheless, I am very impressed. I like having this hand reel in my car for impromptu fishing trips. As I live in FL, there are plenty of places to fish. I typically hand cast using a smaller hand reel (baton style) but this is so much easier to use. The reel is smooth, and I've had no problems bringing in a variety of fun fish.

I’d never seen anything like this but was interested immediately when I seen it. It works well and the best part is it fits almost anywhere. I keep it under my seat in case I happen upon some water that looks like has a fish in it. It seems well made

Although not specifically advertised as having all stainless parts, just the fact that its advertised use is fishing means all of the metal parts should be 316 stainless. Instead I expect all of the screws, bearings and the metal guide to become useless rust. Since my intended purpose for this is in an offshore life raft hopefully there will never be any need for it so now to find a large zip lock bag for it.
