Fiber Optic 45 Degree Offset Iron Sight Set - Rapid Transition 45 Degree Front and Rear Backup Sights for Picatinny Rail

I am a firearms instructor, the rear magpul mbus sight on one of my AR-15 carbine broke off when one of my students is tampering and adjusting the windage (side-to-side). While looking for a replacement on Amazon, this caught my eyes and since I don't want to pay for the unreasonably exorbitant amount for another backup sight, this is perfect for my needs. This is also a flip-up sight made of polymer with steel springs and screws, basically like Magpul but pricewise & budgetwise this is more ideal and most reasonable, hence a better option. Not to mention that this comes as a set -- you get both the front sight and the rear sight. and with the current sale price, this is great value that can't be beat. It arrived on July 16, I went to Zero it in and shot a total of 200 rounds on the 17th. It had been used by students on the 21st, 24th, and yesterday the 28th. So far so good, it held zero without a hitch through more than 500 rounds so far, it's a keeper. The price is unbeatable. Comparably good if not reasonably and economically better than most backup sights out there. This sights co-witness perfectly with both Bushnell TRS-25 with a .83 riser and Crimson Trace CTS-25 with riser. Although the windage adjustment knob on this have some excess visible polymer or some hard plastic glue which covered the letter " L", it doesn't bother me, Aesthetics doesn't affect its' functionality. If I need to also replace the other magpul mbus on my other rifles & carbines anytime soon, I'd most certainly get this again. I am definitely recommending this to my students, friends, and colleagues. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Looks good, light weight, easy installation, I still need to see the accuracy but so far very happy with my purchase.

These are easy to install, they have the look I was going for, and they held a zero better than the red dot I had also purchased from this site. The only problem I've had is the rear sight likes to pop up when i send the bolt forward. However this is more of a pro than a con.

I only needed the rear sight. Similar design to much more expensive sights, and works with F stamped A2 front gas block sight post. I was not expecting them to be pop-up (ie spring loaded), so that was a pleasant surprise. The picatinny is fixed on the sides, so you have to take the bolt out and slide them on from the front and back. Haven't used them much, but construction seams solid and durable. I will note there was some flaking at the injection mold seams, but was easily cleaned off with a pocket knife. Great backup sights for the price.

The rear sight wobbles around on the base. The windage rod is warped. The front sight light pipe is dull plastic, not the fiber optic type. The machining on both sights is very rough, and neither sight meets 1913 rail specs. I wouldn't put these on an airsoft rifle, let alone a real one. Item returned.

If your using optics this is a must for close up target acquisition

Solid design, fits snuggly in place on standard rail. Easy to see in low light, front pin uses an Allen key which is provided. Only thing is on my end and that's range time, well done.

It is a plastic product. the front sight tip was very difficult to adjust high and low, I really brought it for the look. don't know how is the accuracy of this product. no comment.
