Hamax Rain Poncho – Waterproof and Windproof Child Bike Seat Cover with Hood

Love this! It really works. Keeps my son really dry in the rain and then it dries off very quickly. I actually keep it with us at all times: either it’s on the seat (clipped into with the straps) or in the bike basket (if my son in sitting in it). I have the rain cover—which I also highly recommend—which means this poncho is protected from the rain when my bike is parked outside. Hamax products are great!

It does the job but my daughter hated not having her hands free so we got a body suit/wind breaker

When I ordered this poncho, I took a gamble that it would fit on our bike seat, made by Yepp, rather than Hamax. Turns out the gamble was totally worth it. Because of the elastic, the poncho fits just fine on our bike and, most importantly, my son is comfortable enough that he's willing to wear it. Now that it's gotten cold and windy, I'm also using the poncho as a windbreaker. It helps keep a lap blanket on my son, and keeps most of the wind off. Instead of complaining on the ride to school, he arrives warm and toasty. The few times we've needed the waterproofing, that's worked great too.

This works as expected. It keeps our daughter warm and dry in rain, snow, etc. on the back of the bike. Because it's waterproof, we imagine it will be hot in the summer rain, but for fall and winter weather, it has been perfect!

Just started using this to get to school in the AM. We live one mile from school here in Brooklyn NY and it is perfect for my daughter. She took to it right away! She says it keeps her “warm and cozy”.It fits very well on my Topeak BabySeat.

Works well enough on a Yepp seat on an Xtracycle
