So far great! With some mods ipad 12.9 thinkpad yoga
So far it’s great! I was most worried about the stick out length of the tablet holder and didn’t see many photos or reviews of that so here’s mine. I tested it with the last (not current) iPad Pro 12.9 gen and the Thinkpad yoga x1 gen 6. For drawing purposes, the holder sticks out too much on the iPad. But putting the Magic Keyboard behind it (usb hinge down) makes it a great fit. Palm rests comfortably without much resistance from the holder lip and the tablet is still secure. With the Thinkpad it’s even better: almost perfectly flush, no real friction against the palm and is secure. The viewing angles themselves are pretty different and they all feel either too steep or too shallow. Wish there were more angles in between but as it stands this is a great little device!

Finally, a smartly designed iPad accessory...
Wasn't sure how this would feel in person. It's plastic, but feels great! Works equally well with iPad Pro 12.9 AND a 5 pound 15 pound laptop, very surprised on that! (feel like I wasted money now on the aluminum stand I usually use for laptop - this one doesn't scuff, folds flat, and is lighter) Very smart design, finally, in using TWO SEPARATE downward tabs. For some reason, the drawing cases just don't get it - and they end up maybe doing a tall vertical position ok, but not low enough. This lets you choose two tabs. My only nitpick is when using the lower tab, which is not as wide across (since it has to fold in between the arms of the outer tab when in storage mode), the edges of a tablet can be just a little less stable, but honestly, I don't think I really notice, just more of something I noticed visually when setting it up. Has a handle, and also the grippy surfaces let you carry it sandwiched with your device! Wish I'd seen this a long time ago. I have gone for SO MANY CASES with various kickstands, wasted hundreds probably over several years. This thing is portable and lets you use NO case if you want, or any case (even ones without stands)! Nice with no case possible because I can leave an elastic hand strap ATTACHED, and just plop it on this.

Solid affordable stand for drawing tablets, good angles and doesn’t slide
I picked up this Max Smart tablet stand mainly to use with my Fire Max 11 tablet for art. The Fire Max fits perfectly, and it could fit even bigger tablets like an iPad Pro, I used to use one with it, but I think anything over 12 inches might be a stretch. It’s got plenty of angle options you can use it almost flat or raised up pretty high, so it works whether you like to draw almost upright or at a lower angle. I always use it at the highest position since I’m used to real screen drawing tablets, but it’s easy to adjust for different preferences. The best thing is it has rubber feet and a rubber catch tray, so your tablet doesn’t slide around when you’re drawing or tapping. The whole thing stays in place really well, even if you’re a little rough with it. I’ve taken it with me on trips and it’s held up, though it does have a little flex and some scratches now. It’s not as heavy-duty as a metal stand, but for the price and the durability, it’s honestly great and easy to use. I’ve even used it for portable monitors as a little display stand, and it works fine as long as the monitor isn’t too big or heavy. Super affordable, lots of adjustments, stays put thanks to the rubber, and it just gets the job done. Not the most premium stand, but perfect for drawing tablets or as a general-purpose portable stand.

Very amazing!
This is really nice for holding the drawing tablet I just bought. It has the 6 setting, which is nice, but I wish it had two more that offered a more verticle standing. It has nice grips and stays where I want it to. It supports around 15 inches long (roughly 1.5 inches hanging off of each side), much more and it could lift up with lots of pressure applied to one end. It feel durable and very light. This is also quite slim and easy to travel. Overall, highly recommend this product, not really anything to complain about, I got exactly what I wanted.

A Keeper for sure! - 7 years, 6 mos, and 5 days Later and Still Loving It!
There's not much to be said except, purchase it! It's perfect for at home or on the go. There are six levels, a base (stand) to rest your tablet (iPad or whatever) or sketchbook. You really can't go wrong with this stand. And it's sturdy, with no wobble at all, AND it's affordable for the versatility it offers. I use it primarily when I'm on the go (with my iPad Pro 10.5 and sketchbooks) and my regular tabletop easel at home. I have not been disappointed. So glad I found it! EDIT: It's 2025, and it's still going strong, and it's STILL my favorite! I've purchased three other laptop holders, which are fancier and can be raised higher, but they don't compare to this one. In fact, I packed two of them up and don't use them at all. I still use Old Faithful for my iPad, and I've since gotten a larger one (an 11-inch iPad Pro), and it works just as well with the larger size. I can open a typical 8.5 by 11-inch sketchbook completely and use it very well. EDIT: It's 2026, and yep, I just pulled Old Faithful out for the umpteenth, thousandth time and smiled to myself whilst thinking, "Dang! I've had this for a minute, and it's STILL my favorite. I should update my review." So here I am, updating, again. I can honestly say there are few purchases I truly have absolutely no regrets about, and this is one of them. It serves as my iPad rest for drawing, writing, and, depending on the type of case, even typing on. It's sturdy enough to hold college books (I bought it when I was in school), art books (whoppers), iPads (I've upgraded to the 13-inch Pro along with a heavy iPad cover), and sketchbooks up to 8.5 x 11 inches. Whilst I can't attest to current models (things change), it's worth trying. Because I'll tell you the truth: I've bought several laptop stands since 2019, and I've regretted every last one except this one. This is the only one I truly enjoy using. It's not fancy, but it's dependable. Do yourself a favor: become one of the tribe, and in seven years, six months, and five days after your purchase, you'll be saying the same. It's a keeper for sure. And no, no one has paid me to say this. I wish they would! If I'm still on planet earth and this baby holds out, I'll come back for our 10-year anniversary!

Amazing stand for iPad drawing
I got this as an alternative to my Elevation DraftTable when I misplaced that, and I'm really glad I did. I use this with my iPad Pro 12.9" to draw for work. The material is plasticky but not flimsy. The design is wonderful; there are 6 options for angles that click solidly into place. The stand is very, very lightweight and folds completely flat, so it's easy to carry around. And there's rubber on the tablet holder area and on the bottom, so nothing moves when I press my hand hard on the screen. For drawing, this may be the best iPad 12.9" stand I've tried yet.

Works like a charm, better option than cintiq stand
I just recently bought a Cintiq 16, which was rather expensive. I opted to look for an alternative tablet stand rather than spending a whooping 80$ for the official stand. I was a bit worried it wouldn’t fit the stand, but it holds up surprisingly well. The stand itself is sturdy. It holds my tablet in place and I can use it comfortably. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative tablet stand!!
