NaxaElectronics NAXA Electronics Portable MP3/CD Player with AM/FM Stereo Radio (Black)

I was looking for something simple, small and efficient. I still have cd but I wanted also to be able to read MP3 and have radio. well this is it. it's small, easy to use (my 4 yo loves it!) and efficient to do what it's suppose to do.

We have many old time radio programs on mp3 disks. We usually play them at night, to help us fall asleep. Other ones we bought had flashing "party" lights or a bright display window, which defeated that purpose. This player is nice and compact, so it does not take up much space at home and it is easy to pack and take with us when we travel.

This little player is really cute and light and easy to use. Nothing too fancy. If you want it really loud, the sound can get a bit tinny. But otherwise, it is a functional and basic player.

Bought this for my mom, who can't be bothered to learn how to use iPods. She has a bunch of MP3 CDs. She puts 'em in, and they play.Is it reliable? Will it last more than a few years? I don't know. But the fact that she unpacked it, plugged it in, and operated it without asking me a single question is promising.It's small and fits well on her kitchen counter.The audio is clear, but not amazing, but for her needs, it is perfect.I will deduct a star for the following:- the antenna does not move sideways, just up and down.- the operation switch to choose between CD/radio is hard to reach and hard to move.- somewhat weird digital display - if you read the manual, you understand, but it's not obvious.- if you open the tray while a CD is spinning, it seems like some "more expensive" boxes would apply a frictional padding of some sort to slow the disc down and prevent damage. This does not happen here - the disc spins fast and is somewhat wobbly so you worry about damage. Of course, why would you open it while playing, right?It's a good product.

For what you pay for it , it is a nice little CD player. Bought for my grandson and it is easy for him to use. Sound is okay
