Big hit with the mom of the birthday boy. I added vinegar, soda, glue and baking soda to the gift bag.

one box was missing the bottle of liquid soap which would have made it unusable on a trip. since we ordered two (for twins) we were able to make do. not worth taking the chance if you are ordering only one. the first experiment (with milk, colors and soap) was interesting but the following projects required more items which you need to have on hand.

The green paint was empty, it leaked all over everything, can barely read instructions. Cannot contact customer service.

The product was okay despite the fact that the package was damaged when I received it and one of the food colorings had leaked.

My son enjoyed the kit and watching the colors… however it is 4x sm bottles of food coloring, 1 sm bottle of dish soap and about 5 small pieces of paper. All stuff that everyone has on hand anyways - the margins on this must be crazy good.

There are so many experiments you can do with this kit. My daughter and I had so much fun trying various experiments, some were successful and some were not. It's a great way to learn and pretty cool that this box can actually get hot enough to cook. I think this is a great kit for parents and children to interact, perform experiments and learn from the outcomes.
