These earplugs are perfect and very soft, so you can form and plug your ear deep; no pain when they expand, and they have very good soundproofing; still not 100% soundproof, but good enough to get a sound sleep beside someone who snores.

I bought 100 of these 10 years ago and finally used them up (air travel, sleeping and power machine noise). They fit my ears well. I do agree with other reviews that they are a small bit (20%?) smaller in diameter than the orange versions and other brands. If you are working near something very, very loud like woodchipper, you will need to also wear a pair of headphone style ear protectors. But for the other uses, these work great. Am able to sleep comfortably with them (hotel noise, traffic noise). Good price. The last bag I bought, the plugs were loose, which I prefer. This order, each pair is packaged in individual small bags.

I have narrow ear canals and other ear plugs hurt to wear through the night while sleeping, I would wake up with pain in my inner ear canals.These ear plugs fit snug but do not hurt my ears. They help drown out my husband's snoring to a bearable hum but still allow me to hear my senior dogs bark when they need to go out to use the restroom.

I have slept with all types of ear plugs over many years. This (green LPF-1) is a lighter weight (lower sound protection) that is relatively soft to sleep in. Seems to be just right for not blocking out all sound, but enough to not be bothered by my spouse's heavy breathing, ceiling fan noises, etc. Rarely gives me the soreness I get from the heavier duty earplugs. I typically replace about every second or third night. More nights than this, the earplugs get stiff from ear wax or whatever else it pulls out of my ear canal.I started using ear plugs decades ago...it softened the sound of crying babies, who refused to take a bottle, just enough that the better equipped partner understood it was feeding time before the crying would wake me... Given the choice, I appreciate that the infant would rather the "natural" over a bottle--but in this situation, not that I was jealous of either feeding party, but it did not do any of us any good for me to wake up and just "watch" the feeding process. Do not think too much about this. Just understand that comfortable earplugs saved our marriage.
