Living Among Lions: How to Thrive like Daniel in Today's Babylon

The book arrived in great condition. Our worship leader is taking our team through this book for group devotions.However the content of the book is just ok. It is more a study of application of the book of Daniel and less on the actual Biblical content. I probably wouldn’t choose to keep reading it on my own but will finish for our group study.

Wow, the question —will God judge America is not the real question. The question this book helped me decide is what does faithfulness look like in the midst of God’s judgment? Deciding to live a transformed live with conviction, commitment and courage to transform my world. Courage to stand from and be found living among lions.

Not through it, but so far so good. Worth the read.

The brothers rocked it again Well done guys. Using scripture and the the story of Daniel, the guys show how relevant God's word is still today. You cannot help by being both encouraged and challenged as you read this book. As Daniel stood up for God in a Godless society and was protected and rewarded by God as a result, so too should we stand up for God and His word today. If you know David's and Jason's personal story, you can see God's hand has been over them for such a time as this. You can also see however how important Godly parenting is to succeeding generations. I highly recommend you read this book, and then give it to other friends and family members to encourage them to have the courage to stand up like Daniel and the Benhams did for God and His word!

My friends and I are reading this and doing the study as well. I am so excited about taking my faith to the next level. The writing flows so great and the Biblical referneces, stories, and content all throughout reassures me as I read it that these guys are truly in step with God's mission for their life!I highly recommend this book.

What a terrific fresh read dealing with a frustrating subject; America today and how to survive and thrive in it as a Christian. Drawing from Daniel, the brothers easily transition the teaching and role model of Daniel and his friends into a clear path of action for modern day Christians, a feat not easily done. Each of Daniel's trials and success are presented as though he is living today, maybe even your neighbor, outlining a path to living a life true to God's Word in the "Babylon" (America) of today. Drawing from their very public experiences and some not so public, these brothers present a uplifting and clear outline for developing and protecting personal integrity in an otherwise downward spiraling society.

Easy to read along with bits of humor on such a serious topic! Very glad I purchased it!

JUMP IN AND ACCOMPLISH THE IMPOSSIBLE!! Yes, the moral environment in the USA these days makes a pigpen look like a majestic golden palace. Christians are being pressured, ridiculed, mocked, intimidated, harassed, infiltrated, sabotaged, discriminated against, forced to comply, SLANDERED as hate mongers by the hate mongers themselves, legally attacked and crucified. Are you feeling the heat yet? Well, I hope you do because if you don't, you are lost and doomed (take Repentance Exit ahead to John 3:16). In this book the Benham Twins are giving us an invaluable guide to not only surviving as a Christian but THRIVING!!! Think that's impossible? Great! Jump in and read on!!
