Just what we needed!
We always had a bad habit of misplacing our keys somewhere in the house and end up wasting like 5 minutes before going out somewhere to look for those darned things! Needless to say, purchasing this put a stop to that. We decided to buy this rack because it came at a reasonable cost at the time ($12.99 on Sept of 2015) and has a nice simplistic look. Despite some of the negative reviews I read, our key rack is sturdily built and came with zero defects. It's been over 2 years since we purchased this, but I do remember installation was very easy and straightforward. I ensured that one of the two mounting screws went in a stud. I used the dry wall anchor that came with it for the other mounting screw. I know this goes without saying for all you expert DIYers out there, but make sure you drill large enough pilot hole for the dry wall anchor to fit in. If it's too small, you may end up damaging the anchor if you attempt to force it in. Our rack is right by our main entrance door where it makes the most sense (to us) to have our house and car keys. Not only is this rack great for keys, its great to hang up your doggy equipment such as leashes, poo bags, and extra collars (for all you dog owners out there). We don't use the basket for mail, but rather use it to store our gloves, beanies, shoe horns, and any other item you need quick access to before going out on a walk. I found it's better used for that rather than storing your mail in, especially when a lot of your mail could end up being too tall for the basket (magazines, weekly grocery ads, etc...). Some may feel that 5 hooks is too little, but I think it's the right balance. Any more hooks would make it look a little strange in my opinion. In conclusion, I recommend this key rack to any household. It doesn't matter if you have a bad habit of misplacing your keys, this rack effectively makes things much more tidier and organized.

Extremely happy with this
So I read a lot of reviews on these types of products before I ordered one and was hesitant because so many had poor reviews. I don't exactly remember what they all were on this specific product, but I will say it is exactly what I'd expect it to be. It looked the way it looks in the pictures (I got the silvery one) and it mounted exactly as expected. The problem I suspect most people run into is the mounting part. You should have a drill that can bore a good size hole for the plastic mounts if you want to use the mounts which will make it the strongest. I used them in drywall with no stud behind and it feels way stronger than it needs to be, so you honestly could get away with just using the screws it comes with to drive it into the drywall. Whichever way you choose to mount it is up to you, but I think a drill is pretty important to have. It came with the screws and mounts, and looks like it should. The quality of the material itself is some sort of metal. If mounted properly, it is much stronger than the amount of mail you'd ever put in it or hang on it. Right now, I have a few envelopes. But my umbrella, dog harness and leash are hanging on it and it's perfectly fine. It looks nice and it's a place I can now ignore my mail for many weeks to come. One note I'd say on the size is that I wish it were just a big bigger, but I didn't dock a star for that because the measurements are advertised. I just rarely look at those on amazon and sometimes I get really small tubes of toothpaste for being lazy.

It looks well made but much smaller than expected.

Serves multiple purposes, and works well.
You can't see it in the picture, but the back of this is mount is bare. There is little more than a single steel bar supporting the back of it. If you want to use the basket to hold a lot of small items, they will be in danger of falling out the back. Fortunately, they single bar in the back can be used to reinforce your mounting. A couple of picture hangers did the trick for me.Also not seen in the picture-- On the bottom left and bottom right side of the basket's exterior are two small tabs with holes that you can use to pilot screws through. In combination with the picture hangers on the steel bar, I had a total of 4 points where I could secure this to the wall. It hasn't budged an inch, and I even have an umbrella hanging from one of the hooks.I did not receive any mounting hardware with my shipment. I had to use my own.

Stylish and Functional
We live in a complex where the apartment doors are like hotel doors. We have little FOBS we hold up and like magic, the door unlocks. Cool right? Maybe, except, you can't make spare keys, and when you can't make spare keys, and getting locked out costs $75 for emergency maintenance to let you back in...you need a reminder by your door.Seriously, this thing is simple, but stylish. It holds enough mail for the roommate and I to see that someone has gotten it, but not so much either of us gets lazy and just leaves our mail in there for days. Since installation there has only been one lock out incident, an that was because the roommate was running late to work and left without double checking. (This, men, is why women who are too young for you can be fun, but lethal. Fatigue. That's all I'm going to say.)I have only locked myself out once. I was also running late to work. As to the reason. No comment.

Just what I needed!
I recently remodeled my kitchen. The kitchen cabinets originally exposed the refrigerator so I just used a magnetic key holder. The new cabinets block access to the side of the fridge so I needed another solution. This letter/key holder was just what I needed. It's constructed of metal and could easily be spray painted with any color. I just left mine white to match the cabinets. It was easy to mount using a level and a screw driver. It comes with everything you need to mount it but I needed to use shorter screws so I did not penetrate through my cabinet. I now wish I used 3M Command Brand hooks to mount it instead of putting holes in my new cabinet, but I have no plans to move it so i'm sure it will work out fine.Pros:* Easy to install.* Holds keys and letters/mail. (I use mine to hold a notepad, belt, and wallet.)Cons:* None
