Good book, fast delivery

This was a really cute story. My kids loved it! Sometimes you find that you are odd and left out, but sometimes you find that you are the most popular of people in the room. . . which is worse? Great story from one of my very favorite authors.

A brilliant guided reading book for year 4. My class loved its simplicity. A really funny story all about a boy who just wants to be desirable!

I'm so delighted that this book has been reprinted, particularly by the splendid Barrington Stoke publishers, who make wonderful, dyslexia friendly texts. Cottrell Boyce is one of my favourite authors, and not only do I enjoy reading his work myself, but I have had the great pleasure of introducing his books to many children over the years, all of whom adore him too. Desirable is a short story/novella which is perfect for 8 year old readers and up. It tells the story of George who goes from ignored geek to the most desired boy in school thanks to some magical aftershave. It is funny, tender and beautifully written.

My kids read this straight through in one sitting. It is v funny. A great read.
