This set works great for a sensory bin I put together for my daughter, but the tongs literally broke straight out of the box. It's just 2 pieces of wood glued together and the slightest bit of pressure just popped them apart. Everything else seems to be made up of one solid piece, so I assume they will continue to be very durable and hold up to my tiny, adorable destructo.

I didn’t read the description properly I’ll admit so I had to return it because it was quite small and fragile for childplay in my opinion. It was a really cute set up though.

These wooden tools are so much better than using plastic kitchen utensils. It helps create a beautiful sensory bin experience for toddlers or kiddos and really does keep them busy for awhile scooping and pouring. I filled a bin with beans one day and rice the next and my son and I played for 30 minutes. I have 2 sets of these so that him and I can play together. It comes with a storage case so you can store when not in use and the rice or beans you can store in an airtight container…my son looks forward to this activity. This would make a beautiful gift for a toddler as it’s something nice that will last….it is open ended and can be used in many different ways. There is a great variety of scoopers and pans with lids as well as tweezers so you can hide shells or Dinos for them to seek out.This is a very nice item. Has smooth edges and great for little ones. I think it is worth the investment!

I purchased this for my 1 year old son to encourage pouring, picking etc. My son isn’t a rough kid at all, and he waited for me to show him how the tongs and other items worked. The tongs and the lids fell apart and broke the very first day I opened it and tried to use it. Great concept, and would be very useful- wish the quality was either better or that they would send replacements.

These are a great size for little hands. I have yet to give my 2-year-old students the tweezers, as I think they will destroy them the first time out. Otherwise, a great purchase and a novel addition to my sensory table. Kiddos love outing and scooping and even use the lids to tap together.
