SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. Here’s why…For starters it’s a good looking product. Seriously, it looks even better in person. You can tell right out of the box that it’s a quality product.THE STAINLESS STEEL BODY:The stainless steel body is sturdy! If you have not purchased stainless steel food containers before, you may think they are always sturdy. That is not always the case. Some have very thin walls. This one is solid, but not too heavy. It’s a perfect size for a meal. This size should also do well for storing leftovers.THE SILICONE LID:I think my favorite part is the lid. When researching food containers, I decided I wanted 100% Pure LFGB Silicone which means it does not contain fillers mixed into the silicon. Since I’m trying to stay away from potentially harmful chemicals this was a non-negotiable for me.LEAKPROOF:The very first thing I did with this product was take it to the sink and fill it with water. I then turned it upside down and shook it. So far so good. I then proceeded to shake it like CRAZY… TRYING to get it to leak. Not a single drop leaked out. Totally dry!SMALL CONDIMENT HOLDER:This is a small container but holds more than enough dressing for me. It’s a nice addition to the main lunch container; especially if you don’t like your salad getting over marinated.THERE IS ONE NEGATIVE:Because this is stainless steel it cannot go in the microwave.I’m trying to eat more salads lately, so this doesn’t really affect me. But I thought I should mention. If you plan on using a microwave, you’ll need a separate microwave safe plate or bowl (best to use glass, not plastic).CONCLUSION:It’s my new go-to lunch container. If you’re in the market for a stainless steel lunch container, hard to imagine someone not liking this.

For starters, I don’t often write reviews but decided to with this product because of all the time invested in my research.I’m making the transition from using plastic food containers to stainless steel and glass; and one of the blogs spoke highly of bklyn bento’s products. After reading the reviews they have on their other products I finally decided to roll the dice on this two piece set. And I’m really happy with my purchase! I like that the lids are made of LFGB Silicone. I did the “pinch test” on these lids and they passed. If you’re not familiar with the pinch test, it’s an easy test you can perform on any silicone products that you have. Simply pinch and twist the silicone. If the silicon turns White when pinched/twisted that means it’s not 100% silicon and fillers are being used. No fillers with this product! Quality stainless steel with quality silicone leakproof lids.Nice job Bklyn Bento for putting out great products. You’ve earned yourself a new customer!!!

I got rid of my plastic a few years ago but have had trouble finding either a stainless or glass container with a well designed lid. Both the long time companies who make a very popular glass container, and new companies making stainless containers, can't seem to make lids that don't crack or warp. This company has nailed it!!! These lids are super flexible and create a tight seal. The other bonus is that when I contacted the company to ask about care instructions, they answered immediately and were very helpful. I will definitely be buying more of this company's products!

Hands down, this product surpassed our expectations. My daughter just started preschool and it was a necessity for her to have a lightweight, safe, unbreakable lunchbox. This product is extremely lightweight, which is great because she has to carry her own bag. It is free from toxins and is incredibly durable. Preschoolers have a tendency of dropping things and this lunchbox has not been affected by these impacts. There isn’t even a scratch on it. Thank you for giving me peace of mind.

It did passed pinch test, it is really leak proof. It is very sturdy and would not get dented easy. Everything is good. Got it for sons school lunches. Using it with silicone inserts. Just suggestion to add more lead colors ( girly colors) as daughter would like one too, but with pink or purple top.Small container is tiny and can only fit a few nuts of berries.

This is a great container. I love how easy it is to get the lid on and off. I purchased two for my children's school lunches but unfortunately it didn't work out for us simply because of the size and lack of dividers. I did however purchase the nesting bowl set with lids for our every day home use (we are trying to move away from plastics) and we LOVE those.

PB&J and a vegan cheese sandwich, with a beeswax food wrap in between to keep them from touching. ☺️ My 8 year old's favorite lunch! Love the box because it's easy to open and close and safe for my growing child. ❤ Also, we tried putting water in the box, just to see if it really is leak proof, and it didn't leak! Awesome buy! Totally worth it! I use it every single day!
