Mind-blowing!!!
I have no better word than the one I said. It's really mind blowing. The story has kept me on my toes. It's so suspenseful that I did not even dare to guess what would happen next. The story is so intricately done bringing three different issues and making me relate to the life's of those people out there and at the same time higlighted the zeal to survive and importance of family made this more than a romantic suspense book.

Unputdownable and unforgettable. One of my top reads of the year!
Totally unputdownable! I loved it soooo much. To be pretty honest I never expected to be like it as much as I did. Buckle up cause Twisted Circles is far more edgy and mysterious than Half Truths. I highly recommend it.

Enjoyable, unpredictable and suspenseful story
My Rating: đđđđType: StandaloneGenre: contemporary Romantic suspense Narration: Dual POVPrimary Characters: Adam & EvaI was eager to know more about âThe Swordsâ from the time I read about them in Half Truth. I picked this book soon after that. I liked it slightly better than Half Truthâs.In the first half of the book nothing much happened, even though plot started right at the heart of the story with bizarre situation. Eva doesnât remember how she ended up in mental institution. She is picked up by the police and is asked to act like her Twin whom she hasnât met till date. She isnât aware of her twinâs existence till now. Now Eva is supposed to enter the secret society âSWORDâ posing as her twin. I liked being on this mysterious and secretive quest with Eva.Second half was more mysterious and it moved in a faster pace. Weird things were happening, her twin is reported missing, nuns, monks, rituals with burials, ghosted manor, mental institute, secret societies all added to this mysterious quest. This plot is dynamic, complex and riveting which made it a good page turner. This story is more about mystery and suspense than the romance. While the romance takes a bit of a backseat, I liked Adam and Eva individually, but I couldn't see a strong growth in their relationship. There were still several unanswered questions. I wanted to know more details on Wendy and wanted to know what was the exact plan on âTrinity Sacrifice day.â I totally loved Wendyâs way of thinking and questioning, we donât get more of that ď. Climax was at 5x speed. The entire plot was built up for that and in the end it felt like some chapters were skipped.Plot is marvelous with a gripping narration, even if the loose ends arenât tied well. Loved several secondary characters. Hopefully we will see more of Nolan and Will in the next upcoming books.Overall, this is very enjoyable, unpredictable and suspenseful story. It does have some darker elements to this. I suggest park your beliefâs at the door and just get into this mysterious, cryptic twisted ride and enjoy for yourself.

Another homerun for Claire Contreras!
â ď¸ some spoilers ahead and as always, please review warnings for potential sensitive content â ď¸Finished with Leigh Bardugo's Ninth House and Hell Bent? Here's your next binge read with secret societies, dark academia and all sorts of mischief đI enjoyed the plot in both books. With that in mind, I connected more with the characters in the first book. The triplet/ trinity theme in Twisted Truths made sense, but felt harder to follow along with. Each society is outlined with a more in depth history than I assumed we'd get. As you might suspect, both groups perform questionable acts, have a lot of secrets, and an unyielding loyalty to their fellow members.I'd definitely recommend slowing down if you decide to read these, they are fast-paced and I kept getting caught up in what was happening (never a bad thing!) but I went back a few times to reread something because of that. Also want to add a plug that there isn't A LOT of actual hockey play happening. The books seemed to follow and focus mostly on character growth (which was top tier in Half Truths, for me anyways). There were times in the Twisted Circles where I wanted to reach in and shake Wendy, Stella and Eva.Call me Goldilocks because the spice is just right in this duology đĽ đś

Wow. This was intense
I cannot lie. I really did not know what to think when I first started this book. Eva is a college student who has suffered her whole life with what seemed like anxiety and depression. She has been told her whole life that she needed psychotherapy and had spent a lot of time in what can only be described as a psych hospital. She has a loss of her memories and seems to lose bits of time. As she embarks on a journey to find her lost memories she uncovers so many aspects of herself, her life and her family.Wow! A truly wild ride.

Interesting and Unique
This was engaging to a point. I must disclose that I missed entire chapters, as I was busy and barely paying attention at times, near the last bulk of the book. The storyline is different and interesting. The execution was a bit slow in some areas.Characters were okay. I didn't particularly like all the pill popping, especially near the end. I thought it was going to be discovered that Ella or whatever her name was and the others were medicated against their will, and beside that, had no mental defects requiring medication.Or maybe it did, but when I jumped back in near end, she was still balancing meds. Not everyone can relate or want to relate to a character who needs medication to balance her normal.Anyway, this author to me is talented and a great writer. I just didn't like certain aspects of the storyline and didn't feel that undeniable heat between the two characters

Couldâve been better
I didnât enjoy this book as much as I did comparing to Half Truths. I felt the relationship between Adam and Eva was a bit too rush. The plot of the story was okay. I felt there was something missing and I didnât connect with the characters.

A Tangled Web
Such a tangled web of secrets and lies. Pledging to a secret society to find out the truth becomes more than she ever expected. A crazy ride of deception and twisted rituals that will have you questioning everyoneâs motives.Eva is approached by a stranger and asked to attend the initiation for The Swords. Unbeknownst to her, she has a sister who is missing. Itâs now up to her to find out what happened to her. To find out the truth, she will have to become Stella Thompson. To become a Sword, she will have to survive initiation.Adam is her sponsor. Heâll be by her side to guide her. Women are rarely given the opportunity to join. Sheâll have to mentally tough to succeed. Adam will become her rock.As the story unfolds, Eva will discover her truth. However, getting others to believe her will be the challenge. Nothing is as it seems. Those she trusted all her life may not be who she thought. As a girl she struggled with fitting in. Sheâll find out the root of her problem. All the while, sheâll find the family she always deserved through The Swords, who will stand beside her. This is not a story for the faint of heart. Courage will be tested. Loyalty will be questioned. Sides will be chosen. Sacrifices will be made. In the end, the truth will prevail.A romantic supsense about a secret society where you can expect the unexpected. The story is dark and twisted with religious themes, unsanctioned scientific experiments and depraved rituals. Evaâs life will be turned upside down, but in the end sheâll find love and a family.
