Furnitech70" Contemporary TV Stand Media Console for Flat Screen and Audio Video Installations in a Wenge Finish

Such a nice addition to my living room. Took about 2 weeks to get delivery, and it was delivered to my front porch and no further so be aware of this.Compared to any other stand I have had this one beats it hands down both in weight and quality.My last stand was a custom one designed to match my old DLP so I had to purchase a new one for my new display. This cost about twice as much as my last one but it is so much nicer.If you are on the fence about spending this much on a stand let me say it's worth the price for a quality piece of furniture. And the packaging was just WOW.The product is a great representation of their company. A++

This is the second one of these I purchased. Our home was sold furnished and we loved it so much, we purchased another one. Quality is second to none. The wenge finish looks and feels like solid wood. Doors close gently and are perfectly square. Great company to deal with. Prompt communication and delivery was set up perfectly. Thanks a million.

Just received my console and I love it!!! There is damage to one hinge but the customer service group at Furnitech are great and taking care of the concern! I believe the damage is due to the carrier's handling. I work in the transportation industry and know that the damage was cause by the carrier. The driver delivered the box upright which is too much weight on one end. It is clear that the damage is from handling as the outer and internal package was some of the best packaging I have seen in the industry. Other then the hinge, I love my new console.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture, made in Brazil. The only thing I had to do was to insert the shelves and screw on the door handles.

The only way to describe this item is a well constructed, high quality piece of furniture. A very plesant suprise, you definitely get more than you pay for.

Well built, easy assembly, looks great & is sturdy. Also will be able to put whatever size TV on it we want in case we decide to upsize in the future. My only caution is it is very well packed on a wood pallet and therefore is very heavy to move. So definitely need 2 people and would recommend having a dolly to move it.

This is a great unit. When I got it sent to me the shipment guy was amazed that the whole console came in one piece (as opposed to many pieces put together). I literally had to do no work (outside of bringing it up the stairs!). 99% of it is assembled at the manufacturer in Brazil and put straight to the box. This is MDF with veneer covering. Even the likes of Salamander and BDI will piece their units together later down the line, and you will be paying 50% more the price for a name.The wenge finish is beautiful and is scratch proof. I had gotten some tape residue on the top of the console and was pretty much using a screw driver to remove it and I don't see any evidence as such.The only thing I would have liked to see was a little bit more depth in the cabinets. I have both a huge dedicated preamp and 5 channel amplifier and unfortunately they jut out the back a bit, but no worries, it still looks incredibly awesome from the front!If you want a solid wood tv console I would look no further than furnitech! Their prices are tough to beat as they are an internet direct company and their construction is through and through the highest level of carpenter quality outside of buying a custom unit.
