Much better than expected
Background first - For years I had a Perception 14.5 Carolina kayak with rudder and loved to kayak the salt water in Rhode Island and nearby bays. As I got older, however, it became more and more difficult to load and unload the kayak from my vehicle, so I sold the kayak and thought that I was done.Five years later, however, I wanted to start kayaking in local rivers and ponds and after much research settled on the 18 pound Aquaglide Deschutes Inflatable 11 foot Kayak. I am really impressed with the performance and comfort of the kayak. I also bought the Aquaglide hand pump thinking that if it was difficult or took too long to inflate, I could always buy an electric pump.Well, it took only 10 minutes to easily inflate the kayak and attach the seat and skeg and I was in the water. No need for electric pump.Comparing it to the Carolina - Slower than the Carolina as expected but faster than I thought it would be. When I stopped paddling, the kayak would continue to glide for some time. The inflatable is much more stable from side to side than the Carolina. The bow seemed to move side to side a bit as I paddled, however, it tracks straight and is easy to turn. The seat is surprisingly comfortable and can be adjusted fore and aft for proper distance from the permanent foot rest. The hull is semi-rigid and when I mistakenly ran over a slightly submerged rock, I was pleasantly surprised to find no damage to the hull, not even a scratch.I keep discovering greatly engineered features. For example, in addition to the handles on either end, there is a handle in the center, which makes it really easy to carry the inflated kayak one handed to the water after inflation. No need to drag it.So yes, this is a great kayak, even for someone who comes from a more traditional kayaking background.

Sturdy lightweight & comfortable.
We bought two of these Duh-Shoots inflatable kayaks for recreational use. Very sturdy and seat is comfortable to sit and paddle for hours at a time. The backpack that comes with the boat is a plus for storage a toting. Downside is they don't include a pump with purchase. I'm 6'4" and my wife is 5'8" and we both found them extremely stable and comfortable. The footrest is comfortable for both of us. We own hard body kayaks as well and got these due to the portability of them. We travel full time and took them to Baja, Mexico with us last November which is where the pictures posted were taken on the Sea of Cortez near La Paz, Mexico. Did you notice they only weigh 19lbs.?! That's incredible! They air up in about 4-5 minutes. Easily moves through the water but they don't track super straight until after you get going. We have also taken them down the Flathead River at Glacier NP and they withstood the rough waters well. We had to stop and dump water out several times due to the severity of water drops etc. but we didn't tump once! Handles and storage compartments are handy. We store them in the bottom bay of our motor coach when traveling the country. Would recommend for beginners and up. Definitely would buy again.

Light weight and portable
I feel pretty lucky I was able to pick this up “used” and saved just over $200. To be honest, I would not have paid the listed price. The kayak was in excellent condition, tags still present and, as far as I could tell, never used. The kayak is lightweight and easily inflatable. In the water in a matter of minutes. Materials and reliability are also a plus. AG has quite the following and reputation.Tracking is good. Speed is good. I will probably use this kayak for fishing. Open cockpit and too much paddling can equal a bit more water in the boat and on me.Size is comfortable for this 5’2” medium build woman and her fishing gear

LOVE
I have been using the Challenger Intex inflatable kayak for years and years because it was cheap and easy. After recently using a friend's Tributary Strike inflatable kayak, I realized what I have been missing out on. I couldn't find those rafts online, in-stock so I took a chance on this kayak.I LOVE it. It's super light (I'm 5'6" and about 125lbs) and super easy pack around. It's really easy to inflate. I have used it once for a long river float with some Class 1 rapids. I bought a bilge pump to expel any excess water that got in the raft as I navigated any stronger current or small rapids. The seat was more comfortable than the Tributary Strike raft and all around I thought this raft was functional, comfortable and all around a good fit for me and my activity level which is primarily paddling on Class A and Class 1 water. I hope this helps any readers on the fence.I have read reviews about the instructions for inflating the raft but I thought inflation was pretty self-explanatory and didn't have any issues with it. I will try and report back later on longevity....

Best kayak Purchase Ever!
This kayak amazes me. It handles the crop better than my $1200 11’ Santa.Buy the low pressure Inflator. This inflates in under 10 minutes. It also deflates. There are 3 areas all easy to reach. The seat is comfortable and stable.I take this camping with me as it folds up into a nice square Also can be hauled in a trunk of a car.Imgine never struggling hauling a kayak again.

Easy to inflate and deflate, light weight, comfortable
I am a 62 year old woman, I really like that I can carry my kayak in the bag myself, inflate and carry to the water. It’s very comfortable and easy to paddle. Has storage area for my dry bag etc. It is very good quality rubber, thick and substantial. It deflates very fast and folds up easily and goes back in carrying bag. I had a hard shell kayak that I couldn’t do on my own. This is perfect!
