Good stuff at a good price
Bought this to make kombucha, tastes great in that. Finally had a regular cup of tea made with this and it's pretty good. Straight up unflavored green tea.

Very Nice
I just bought my second 1 lb bag because the first was very nice. Whole leaves, fresh rich aroma, and excellent flavor for a great brew...

Great quality
It's a great tea, just make sure you know how to brew it right.

Love the company but i prefer stronger teas
I Love this Company and its other products i just do not prefer this type of green Tea. It is very good very light and a nice hint of rice krispies. But I simply prefer darker more tanin infused green teas.

I am glad that I read the reviews for "Organic Pinhead Gunpowder ...
I should start off this review by stating that I am not a green tea connoisseur, and rarely drink the product until recently. However, I am glad that I read the reviews for "Organic Pinhead Gunpowder Green Tea, Loose Leaf Bag, Positively Tea" because they were, for the most part, correct in their assessment. Those who said this is a gunpowder green tea were correct, as it has tightly curled leaves, unlike other products that are more like bits and pieces of broken leaves; what I would describe as "leaf shake".In order to compare and contrast for myself, I also ordered "Davidson's Tea Bulk Gunpowder Green tea". That tea is approximately 30% less expensive per weight as it sells for $9.99 in comparison to this tea for $14.95. The difference in taste for this tea is phenomenal and worth the higher price! Davidson's Green tea was bitter and weak, a very watery taste to go along with a not so pleasant green tea flavor. The Positively Tea Pinhead Green Tea was true Gunpowder Green Tea as the leaves were tightly rolled, as seen in the photo I attached to my review; LEFT is Positively Tea, RIGHT is Davidson's Tea, just like the other reviewers photos. The Positively Tea also had a nice smooth slightly sweet taste to it and was some of the best green tea that I have had. Much less watery than the other tea and seemed to carry a slightly higher viscosity too. The difference was night and day.For bulk green tea at a low price point Davidson's will do the trick, but it will not be highly enjoyable. Go with another product to get a better tea. I don't know if I will drink a full 1 lb of it after I ordered it. But this tea is worth a daily cup!

Great green tea
When I opened the package there was a very strong smell of mango. However, the tea itself has a slight taste of mango. I have purchased white and green teas from this company and have been very happy with all of my purchases.

Absolutely disgusting, the only tea I've tried from them that I hate.
Got the genmaicha and we couldn't even drink it it was so bad. I did a short steep at 172f, flavor should have been incredible, and it barely tasted like tea. I understand that you typically use the older leaves for genmaicha but this tastes like there's other stuff in here. Can't taste the tea, can't taste the genmai. I also poured in to a clear glass and there was a lot of stuff in there that didn't look like typical tea sediment. Maybe dirty leaves? I've tried their Puerh and oolong and they were great (oolong was superb, great full leaves), but I would definitely avoid this. The cheap stuff you can get from Itoen is leagues better than this. I wouldn't even be upset but I waited like 2 weeks for this and now I can't drink or return it.Honestly just buy some good sencha and bulk genmai.
