TechMatte MagGrip Magnetic Phone Ring Holder Stand (Detachable), Designed for iPhone 12 Mag-Safe, Wireless Charging Compatible

I’ve literally just received this product and here I am using it to write this review via inserting my middle finger through the ring pull to keep my iPhone steady.This ring holder stands by TechMatte is well made stylishly presented with its “carbon-fibre” woven effect around the side of the ring pull. It’s well made too, the ring pull which acts as a stand or the aforementioned mention holder is sturdy holds the iPhone in place at whatever angle you lean it. Its holder connects to the iPhone via MagSafe tech and unless you seriously yank it, it will not fall off. However, if you do want to remove it, simply move it to the side and it will detach easily.There are, however, a couple of niggles. Firstly the profile, I feel that the holder can be slimmer as it does have a relatively bulge at the back. Secondly, the ring pull itself could’ve been larger. This would utilise the ring pulls well-constructed design to gain better angles for better viewing.Overall a good attempt, there are flaws but they’re more of a nitpick.

At first I was very impressed as it seemed very sturdy and did exactly what I wanted. However I’ve only had it a few weeks and have not used it every day, as I do sometimes forget to out it on and it’s now broken. The ring has come off from the magnet part and it is plastic inside. Considering how strong the magnet is this was I think always going to happen. I am going to try and get a replacement but until they change the plastic part it will always have this weakness. It’s a shame as there are not many like this to choose from and it could be excellent if it was made a bit better.

I like it! I dont like the price lol but I like it!You have to pay for materials and boy is this thing built sturdy. They have even incorporated a woven effect into its aesthetics that simply makes me melt every time I look a it.I see why people go for these products as it drastically reduces the amount of times Ive had to implore Apple’s “Reachability” and it does improve the overall grip on the phone but even better and seamlessly is its integration to the new devices. I love to see third parties utilise Magsafe and frown upon products released to used adhesive in this day and age. Not only does this product take full advantage of MagSafe but it does so with conviction. No cheap magnets here...Im still choking on the price but I cant lie, I do really like this product and will be using it a lot in the years to come
